The diary game. An Unexpected Day of Duties, Friendship and sharing of our grief.
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I got up at the time when the morning call for prayer was offered from the nearby mosque. I was quick to respond, got up, purified myself, and then went for the morning prayers in congregation. After completing the prayers and making supplications, I headed back home. It was extremely cold outside, so I went back to bed again. I only got up at breakfast time when it was ready. I had my breakfast in a very relaxed way since I was not supposed to go to the office that day.
After finishing breakfast, I went to my room and started reading a book. I had just begun reading when I received a call from my boss, asking me to reach the office as there was an emergency meeting regarding the digitisation of revenue records. Those responsible for verifying the data at one stage had to be present to convey the progress to higher authorities. I quickly got ready and set off. I took a shortcut route and managed to reach the office in just half an hour, which otherwise would have taken more than an hour if I had taken the main route.
We all gathered in a big room, interacted with people I already knew, and soon after the meeting was over, I headed back home. Before leaving, I had a cup of tea at a dhaba located just outside the office. On my way back, I stopped at a famous bakery shop owned by my friend and bought bakery items worth 100 steem. Again, I took the shortcut route to reach home quickly.
After reaching home, I freshened up, had my lunch, and then spent some time with my pet. She was wagging her tail, and I quickly understood what she wanted. I went out and brought some milk and biscuits for her. Later, I went out to play cricket with other boys from the community at the outskirts of the village. The place is quite peaceful, and the vibe there is truly unmatched. We love spending time in that part of the village, and the moments we create there are unforgettable.
After playing a few matches, I had to head back because I had promised a friend from a nearby village that I would visit him. Fortunately, I did not forget my promise. I called my friend at Hafiz’s place, and once I reached there, we went to our usual spot where we sit in peace and solitude. It is located on the top of a hill, from where we can see the entire area. We spent some quality time there.
This time, however, it was not very cheerful, as my friend shared the health issues his family has been facing for the past few months, especially concerning his father, who is suffering from serious health problems that may worsen in the future. I tried my best to encourage him and motivate him to face the challenges with strength. I spent more than two hours there before heading back home, as it was already late and my family had started calling me to ask about my whereabouts.
After reaching home, I had my dinner, but my mind was still occupied with the issues my friend had shared. It made me feel sad for him. Later, after spending some time on social media, I went to sleep and called it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
