Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

It was Ramzan day five and I jumped out of bed at 4 AM in the morning and offered the night prayer (Tahajud) before actually having the predawn meal called sehri. After finishing Sehri in time I went to offer the the morning prayer in a nearby mosque and then as I returned home I went for second spell of sleep till 9 AM in the morning. After I got up , I was sent by my mother to buy some vegetables from the market. I bought some tomatoes which could be found in every household in Ramadan, here in Kashmir Valley. People prefer eating tomato curry during Ramadan, because as the timing of the meals change, acidic taste of tomatoes is attractive maybe bacause of the dizziness due to lack of energy. . Upon returning from the market, I set off for office.

Upon reaching office, I along with my team left for the field to physically verify the execution of various works going on in our block. It took us about two hours to go for checking whether the standards are being maintained. By making such visits, we ensure that the government money is spent for right causes. We never compromise with the standard and quality of the work and it’s our prime responsibility to make good and efficient use of public money. As our department is directly linked with the betterment of the rural people, we ensure at every step that the underprivileged people don’t get duped.

Later, as per an order I had to visit the village I have been posted in to check whether the Anganwadi (nutrition)centres had received sufficient nutritional stuff for poor children. I took it as an opportunity to play my role in mitigating the menace of malnutrition of poor children, and I made sure that the workers had received sufficient nutrition which they will distribute among the poor children either cooked or raw in the forthcoming days.

Later as I returned home, I got fresh and then took a nap for about an hour.I couldn’t eat anything as I was fasting and waited for the time to break my fast. While fasting and going on field visits is quite difficult and it really makes one to realise how difficult hunger is and truly it’s Ramzan that makes us to realise the sufferings of poor and hungry people.
After breaking my fast, I went for the prayers in the mosque and on return I had my early dinner after which I again went for the Taravi prayer followed by going to bed early to compensate for the sleep that I had lost yesterday night.
