Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Though I had not been feeling well for the past few days, I still couldn’t sleep long today. After purifying myself for the morning prayer, I offered the prayers along with the community. After finishing the prayers, I made supplications and asked for whatever I needed and wished to have in my life. Once done, I returned home.

Upon reaching my place, I went straight inside, as doing any exercise outside in the cold weather could be quite risky in my condition. At home, I took some rest again and then had my breakfast. After completing the usual morning chores, I got ready and left for my office.

The new duty assigned to me is quite a huge task, as it will take more than a year to accomplish. The other members who were part of our team have been relieved because they had very small targets, which they completed. Unfortunately for me, I have been given work that will take more than six months to finish. But it’s part of the job, and as long as I am getting my salary, it hardly matters.

I was a little late leaving for office today, and the sun had already risen, which slightly improved the temperature inside the car. Upon reaching the office, I immediately started my work. Today was quite a smooth day for us, and we were able to accomplish more than what we usually do. It was satisfying for both of us. My colleague comes to the office very early, even before the official timing, and although I reached late, I got straight to work to ensure I completed the day’s target. That actually made me work quicker.

I left the office around 2 PM after having my lunch, which I had carried with me. While returning home through the shortcut route that I usually take to save time and money, I remembered that I had something important to do today — to visit one of our apple orchards located near the village. I needed to check if any of the trees had been damaged by rats. Moving around in the open was quite difficult because of the deep cold, so I made my visit short and returned home.

On my way back, I also visited my friend’s shop and met some other friends. I spent some time there, then bought some groceries and food items to take home. I reached home within 15 to 20 minutes. After arriving, I helped my mother with some kitchen chores and made sure I did most of the work so she could get some rest.

Since I wasn’t feeling well, I made a special kehwa, the typical Kashmiri tea usually taken for cough and sore throat. My mother later gave me some more. After watching TV and having dinner in the living room with my family, I went to bed a little late because I had to check social media and talk to friends. Still, I was able to spend my day in a very good way, and I am quite thankful for everything. My Allah has given me a life that many people dream of, and I must be grateful for it as well.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
