Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

I’m quite sacrosanct about my daily routine of getting up very early, performing ablution, and offering prayers and supplications before heading back to do other morning chores. Because the winter season is on, doing other morning chores like exercise or workouts is quite difficult and not advisable as well, as doctors have been advising people to stay indoors to avoid any health hazards due to the ongoing cold wave. I did the same today as well. Only after finishing my breakfast very early in the morning, I got ready for the office and was quick enough to reach there on time.

I usually take a shortcut route to reach my office. If I go via the longer route, it takes more time because an alternate route has been provided for public use only after the breaking or cracking of a major bridge linking the two sides or banks of the river, and actually our area with the main part of the district. This shortcut route has turned out to be a blessing for me, not only because it saves time but also because it is cost-effective. For the past few months, I have been saving some money, and that’s something I really like about it.

As usual, upon reaching my office, I wasn’t ready to waste time on futile work. I got straight into my duties and was quick enough to finish my work well within office hours. Meanwhile, I had a cup of tea and also had my lunch, which I usually carry with me because I avoid outside food available at restaurants. Over the past few years, I have felt that it doesn’t suit me, and that’s why I prefer to take my lunch from home. After all, the taste of my mother’s food is unparalleled, and I feel there’s nothing like it.

I was back home in the afternoon and reached quickly again because the route I have opted for while commuting between my office and home is not very busy. Only a few vehicles can be seen moving on that road, and it is actually a good road to drive on. It has a well-topped surface, and there is no problem whatsoever while travelling on this route.

These days, I remain a little eager to play cricket with other boys of the village, as it has helped me stay fit and has actually made me nimble and agile. I have been noticing some changes in myself. It feels like a phase of metamorphosis for me over the past few months. I have been dealing with idleness, and now that I have got an opportunity to play cricket and burn some calories, I feel I am undergoing positive changes.

After playing cricket on the outskirts of the village in a peaceful atmosphere without much disturbance, I returned home. Then it was time to help my mom by buying some groceries and other items from the market, and I also had to bring home some milk from my paternal uncle’s house. It took some time, and while I was in the market, I met some friends and spent a little time with them.

After returning home, I was again assigned a new job. Some coconuts had been kept aside yesterday, and now it was time to break them. As far as my mother is concerned, I am a jack of all trades. I was given the task and finished it quickly. After enjoying some coconut, it was time to have dinner. It was quite a tasty dinner, but meanwhile, we heard about the demise of a young lad living just a few hundred metres from our place, which was quite disheartening. We couldn’t enjoy our dinner, as we felt the loss of that child, and the whole family was in a grim mood.

Later, it was time to go to sleep. I felt sleepy, scrolled through Facebook posts to confirm the news, and it was around 12 PM when I finally went to sleep.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
