So, in this post I am going to share my full day routine (06/ 01/2026 ) . I hope you people like and enjoy my post

I woke up at 7:45 AM today. It's getting very cold now. My son's school has reopened because he's in 12th grade; his winter vacation is over. But since school starts at 10:00 AM, I wasn't stressed. I quickly got up, heated some water, gave it to my husband, prepared his bathwater, and woke up Kartik. Since Kartik has his unit exams going on, he sat down to study.

I started preparing Kartik's lunchbox. I made a dry potato and bell pepper vegetable dish and parathas. Today is Sakat Chauth, so I'm fasting. I'll break my fast in the evening after seeing the stars and reciting the story. I made tea for my husband; I can only have tea twice a day today.

I woke up my elder son, Naman. By 9:30 AM, Kartik had left for school, and my husband had gone to the shop. I quickly got busy with the household chores. By 12:00 PM, I left for the shop with breakfast. I had tea with my husband at the shop. It's very cold this year. I came back home by 3:00 PM. There's no sign of sunshine; even if there's a little bit of sun, the wind is very cold.

After coming home, I slept for a while. Today I only made bread sandwiches because I still had a lot of work to do for the evening meal. I also had to do the puja. The children asked me to make carrot halwa, so I made carrot halwa today. Then I started preparing for the puja. I quickly made tilkuta (sesame seed sweet). I ground the sesame seeds to make the tilkuta, decorated the puja plate, placed flowers and vermilion, and recited the story.

I told the children to look at the sky and see if the stars had appeared so I could do the puja. The children looked, but because of the fog, the stars weren't visible. Then I started preparing the evening meal because I had to make quite a few things for the festival. Bathua raita, paneer (cottage cheese) vegetable dish, and stuffed puris (fried flatbreads). I was feeling terrible because I was so hungry. It was 9:00 PM, and my food was ready. But not a single star was visible in the sky. I called my sister-in-law; she breaks her fast after seeing the moon. She said, "No, Didi, there's no moon and no stars. Nothing is visible in the sky because of the fog."

Everyone was worried, hoping the moon and stars would appear soon so we could perform the puja and eat. But there was no sign that we would see them that night. Then everyone started calling people in other cities, hoping that if someone saw the moon or stars, they would send a picture, and we could perform the puja. My husband and the children were also worried. So I called my cousin sister in Kolkata. It's usually a little less cold there, although it was still cold at that time. But she could see the stars from her balcony, so she said, "Didi, I can see the stars. I'll video call you so you can see them and perform your puja."

I performed the puja via video call. That's how I completed my fast today. Then I quickly served everyone dinner. I was so tired. After eating, I quickly tidied up the kitchen and went straight to sleep. My energy was completely drained. I don't like the cold at all, and I couldn't do anything because of it.
