The diary game.Diary of 18-03-2024. A day at office, making bills and verifying works physically.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

It’s Ramzan day seven and as a routine for the last six days I have been waking up early at around 4 AM and so did I today and I straight away performed ablution to offer the special night prayer Tahajud followed by the predawn meals along with my parents. After I was done with the meals, I went to a nearby mosque to offer the morning Prayers called Fajr and on completion I returned home to go for a second spell of sleep till 9:30 AM. Before going to sleep, I set the alarm for 9:30 AM so as to reach office on time because as it is the fag end of this financial year, we are supposed to finish the processing of about hundred odd bills and also the physical verification of all the developmental works that are going on.

As I reached office at 10 AM, I saw all of my colleagues and other employees had already arrived and were all set to start their assignments. My team had already arrived and we all set off for physical verification of a new office building that is being constructed in a nearby village. The building is intended to fulfil the needs as far as the meetings and other trainings of our department are concerned. Until now, we didn’t have a big meeting hall, where all our employees and other representatives of people could be accommodated at a time and now in this financial year, we were able to divert some of the funds of our block towards constructing a meeting hall, which will end a long pending demand of our employees who hardly could get any place in the room where we organised meetings otherwise.

Later, I returned to Office, where I got into the work of bill making along with other two colleagues who were there throughout the day during the same work. As I already mentioned, we are heading towards the end of this financial year and we need to pay all the bills of construction works executed in this year as the works have been executed under the capital expenditure, which lapses on 31st of March.After which any expenditure unfulfilled would spill over to the next year, for which the contractor has to wait for one more year and so as to avoid such circumstances, we make sure that all the bills are booked till 31st of March.

I left office at around 4:30 PM after which I headed towards the town to buy some stuff required in these Ramzan days like dates and other fruits, and then I returned home, exhausted. On reaching home, I got fresh, and then I went to my room to take a nap, till the time for breaking the fast had arrived. After breaking the fast, I offered the prayers and then had my early dinner followed by the special prayers called Tarawi and then on-return I retired to sleep at around 11:30 PM
