One Picture And One Story Week #101

Wishing all Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am doing very well. I will share my story with you through a great contest in the Steem for Pakistan community. The theme of the contest is One Picture One Story Week #101. So let's get started.

Most of the people in Bangladesh's villages depend on agriculture for their livelihood. Our region is rural and most of the locals here earn their livelihood by farming. We are also involved in agriculture, so rice is cultivated twice a year in our house and we happily work on that rice. The festival of renewal is celebrated by drying the winter rice.

A few days ago, rice harvesting started in our house this year, so I dried the rice in the sun because we want to eat pitha puli in winter. It is a traditional custom in our region to eat pitha puli every morning in the winter. In this winter, relatives are invited to pitha puli. Apart from this, pithapuli is sold at various places on the streets and is made at home and shared with everyone.

Whenever rice comes to our house, I feel very happy. This rice meets our needs for livelihood throughout the year. In the month of Agrahayan and the month of Baishakh, that is, twice a year, we harvest rice and bring it home after sweeping it and eat it throughout the year. When I was drying the rice in the sun, many birds came and ate the rice and I fed the birds because they were hungry. I sometimes put food on the roof for the birds to eat.
