Ramadan Baking Madness!!! Homemade Cakes & Sweet Moments | Steemit Diary Game | 26-03-2025
Hello friends!!!
I wish you all are doing super!!! Ramadan is upon us , and my house smelt so good with all the food we making!!! Today was special in deed because my family decided to bake cakes!!! I was so excited but… I was late!!!
Went to bed late and came home 11:00 am. Once I got in, I could see my family super roomy in the kitchen. Bowl, tray my mother, siblings and even my father was working. I had no clue what was happening till I saw it—cakes in progress!!!
Oh no!!! I missed the first steps!!! I missed some of it at the start but at least I was here for the bake!!! The kitchen was a mess of perfection!!! Bowls of cake batter, chopped nuts, vanilla extract and all sorts of things were out everywhere.
Big pot of golden, creamy batter just on the counter waiting to be baked!!!
My mother chuckled and said "Late but You can still help!" Rapidly washed my hands and joined them!!! The batter was put into little round pans, & they got set into the microwave oven!!! Now, it was just a matter of waiting!!!
The best part??? The smell!!! In just manners the whole kitchen was firn with the sweet, scrummy scent of detectors cakes!!! I located next to the oven, doing some ticks to grow extremly!!! So soft and golden they looked!!! My younger siblings were just as excited, bouncin around, waiting on them to get done!!!

Finally, the cakes were ready!!! Carefully we took out them, and wow!!! They were perfect!!! Soft, golden, and smelling like heaven!!! My mother tossed them out of the pans, and we put them to cool on a tray. I did want to eat them right away - but I had to WAIT!!!
At iftar, we placed the cakes on the table with dates, samosas, and fruit chaat!!! The first bite??? SO SOFT AND DELICIOUS!!! Sweet, fluffy, and just perfect!!! I may have missed the first steps, but at least I got to enjoy the best part—eating it!!!

It was very nice to see the cake you made. Your mother must have made it, but you helped her in the last stage. And then after it was made, you were very impressed and surprised. How could it be so beautiful, so delicious, and so interesting? You ate it for iftar and felt very happy. Besides, the joy of small children becomes much greater when they can eat different favorite things, whereas they were very happy to eat yours.
