How are you. I hope you people of steemian are good and enjoy your life . Well I am well. May God bless you all. Today I am sharing the recipe of yummy Gulab jamun.
Let's start, Today I'm sharing a recipe for making Gulab Jamun, which you can easily make at home. It doesn't take much time either. Let's begin! Here are the ingredients we'll need to make Gulab Jamun:
Khoya (reduced milk solids) 350gm
Paneer 150gm
flour 50gm
Sugar 750gm
Water 2 cups
Dry fruits for stuffing (cashews, almonds)
Cardamom pods
Refined oil for frying

- First, we will grate or crumble the khoya and then knead it thoroughly with our hands until it becomes very smooth and lump-free.

- We will also grate the paneer and mix it with the grated khoya. Mix the paneer and khoya very well and knead it thoroughly until it becomes completely smooth.

- Then, we will make a small ball to check if there are any cracks. If there are no cracks, it means the mixture is perfectly smooth. Now we will add the all-purpose flour and knead it well. This will create a perfectly smooth dough.

- Now we will prepare the sugar syrup. We will put two cups of water in a pan. When the water heats up, we will add the sugar and let it boil. Add a little milk to it, and when it boils, the impurities from the sugar will rise to the top, which we will remove with a spoon. Now we will have a transparent sugar syrup ready.

- When it becomes slightly sticky, we will check the consistency by touching two fingers together. If it feels sticky, we will turn off the gas.

- Chop the dry fruits into small pieces and mix in the crushed cardamom. Take a spoonful of the khoya dough and mix it with the dry fruits.
- Now, heat the refined oil in a pan. Heat the oil over medium heat. While the oil is heating, we will make small balls from the dough we prepared. Make the balls the size you want your gulab jamuns to be.

*Then, flatten each ball slightly with your hands, fill it with chopped dry fruits, and roll it between your palms to ensure there are no cracks. Then, carefully drop the balls into the hot oil for frying.
- Once they turn golden brown, remove them from the oil and immediately place them in the warm sugar syrup. Make sure the syrup is warm so that the fried gulab jamuns can absorb it properly, allowing the syrup to penetrate all the way to the center.
- After about half an hour, serve them. These very soft and delicious gulab jamuns are ready!
