Daily Menu Delicacies Week No 108. (24-01-2026) //, Comfort in Every Bite 😌🍽️

How are you all? I hope everyone is living a healthy and happy life. I feel truly thankful for each new day and sincerely thank Allah for this beautiful blessing. Today, I am excited to participate in the wonderful contest “The Daily Menu: Delicacies Week #108” 🎉. I am very grateful to the Steem Iron Chef community for arranging such an engaging and meaningful contest. It gives us a great platform to share our favorite dishes and cooking experiences. I’m happy to present my daily menu and hope you enjoy these dishes as much as I enjoyed preparing them.

In the Morning, a sweet surprise came from the house across the street. Their child completed their first supara, and to celebrate, the family shared jalebis with the neighborhood. Such simple gestures are done to make a child feel special. Sometimes it’s jalebis, sometimes toffees, but the joy they spread is the same.

In our home too, we share small treats with children during happy moments. These acts create memories that stay in the heart. That day, the jalebis were especially delicious golden, crispy, and full of sweetness. More than the taste, they carried warmth, love, and a feeling of togetherness.

In the afternoon, I made kheer for everyone at home. We usually prepare a dessert because after lunch I often crave something sweet. This time, I made it myself with my mother’s help, which made it more special.

Earlier, I used to rely on market kheer box, but today I prepared rice kheer instead. It took a little more effort, but the result was worth it. The kheer was creamy and delicious, and everyone enjoyed it. Seeing my family happy reminded me that homemade desserts always have a special taste filled with love and care.

Later in the evening, my younger brother brought kebabs from outside. There’s a very old and popular shop in our area, and Babaji’s kebabs are famous for their taste. Just seeing them made my mouth water.

By then, my whole day felt full of delicious moments. After enjoying homemade food earlier, these juicy and spicy kebabs made the day even better. Every bite showed how simple food can bring so much happiness and turn an ordinary day into a memorable one.

In the evening, I prepared dahi bhallay at home for some guests. I enjoy making them, and everyone says they taste very good. We often prepare dahi bhallay, especially with pulao, or sometimes in the evening when I feel like making something special.

With soft bhallay, fresh yogurt, and spicy market chutneys, the dish becomes even more delicious. It’s easy to make and loved by everyone. The best part is how quickly it gets finished, which feels like the biggest compliment. Sharing homemade food with family and guests always makes the evening warm and joyful.

At night, my cousin visited us and brought homemade soup along with her. It was extremely tasty and comforting. Now that winter has arrived, soup feels like a must in every home it’s one of the most loved treats of the season.

Warm and flavorful, soup is something you can enjoy again and again during cold days. Many people even go out specially to have it. I’ve also gone out with my family to enjoy soup, especially when the weather is cold and pleasant. After all, food tastes even better when the season and atmosphere are just right.
