🍲Cooking Process 🍲

Step 1:

I will share the recipe for making Haleem in a very simple way. For this, I took the grains and spices from the Haleem mix packet. I took the grains of Haleem mix, that is, the rice and dal mixture, in a mixing bowl and added two cups of boiling hot water. After adding the hot water, I stirred all the ingredients well, of course, it must be stirred so that it does not clump. Then I kept the mixture to one side for some time.

Step 2:

For cooking Beef Haleem, I have taken half a kilo of boneless beef mixed with oil and fat. For cooking convenience, I have cut the meat into small pieces. At this stage, I heat half a cup of cooking oil in a pan on the stove and add chopped onion, stir the chopped onion in the hot oil and fry it. When the onion changes color and turns brown, I add ginger paste and garlic paste.

Step 3:

After adding ginger garlic paste, fry it again for some time, till the raw smell of the spices is there. When the spices are fried, I add a little water so that the powder does not burn while adding the spices. At this stage, I added half a spoon of turmeric powder, one spoon of chili powder, half a spoon of cumin powder and half a spoon of salt. Then I mixed all the spices and ground them well. After grinding the spices, I added the washed and cleaned beef, then mixed the beef with the spices.

Step 4:

After mixing the spices well with the meat, I cooked it for ten minutes. After cooking for ten minutes, when the color of the meat changes a little, I added two-thirds of the Haleem Readymix Masala to the meat. Then I stirred everything again and cooked for some time.

Step 5:

I ground the meat until the excess water from the meat dried up, when the spices stick to the pan, you will know that the meat is ground. At this stage, I added a cup of boiling hot water to the meat, closed the lid of the pot and cooked until the meat was well cooked. Since I added hot water, the meat will cook very quickly.

Step 6:

I cooked the meat on medium heat for fifteen minutes. When the meat was completely cooked, I poured the previously soaked rice and dal mixture into the meat. After pouring the mixture, I mashed everything together for about three minutes, stirring occasionally so that the rice and dal mixture does not stick to the bottom of the pot. When it was mashed, I added four cups of boiling hot water again. After adding the water, stir everything together, cover the pot and cook for another 15 minutes to allow the rice-dal mixture to cook. Remove the lid occasionally and stir because the dal-rice mixture sticks to the bottom of the pan quickly.

Step 7:

After fifteen minutes, I removed the lid of the pot and stirred it, at this stage the beef halim cooking was almost over. Now I added the remaining portion of the halim readymix masala to the halim cooking. Adding the masala in this way towards the end of the halim cooking enhances the aroma of the masala and also enhances the taste of the halim. I stirred the masala well with the halim, at this stage the consistency of the halim was perfect. I will serve the beef halim recipe hot after removing it from the stove.

🥗Final Touch🥗

To serve Haleem, I took grated ginger, sliced lemon, onion, grated cucumber and the most important ingredient, onion rings. After serving the hot beef Haleem in a bowl, I decorated it beautifully with all the ingredients and spread onion rings on top. Serving the hot beef Haleem like this will double the taste and will definitely make you want to eat it again and again.
