In my country, Venezuela, yams are abundant and I have never eaten them in stews, only in soup.
Prepared like this it is a complete meal, you don't need anything else. What leaves or veggies do you use?

Wow! I bet you need to try this. It's sweet and delicious. Any veggies can go. Over here we have; pumpkin leaf, scent leaf, green leaf so I prepared this one with pumpkin leaf.
