What's your favorite fried item at this stand (empanada, arepa, pastel, or other) and what filling do you always order it with?
Standing in front of Mamun Fried House, it is difficult for any foodie to avoid the familiar smell of hot oil and the magical pull of spicy food. Behind every fried item of this shop is a long experience imprint, which makes the simple chat instantly. But of all things, their crunchy pastels always top my personal favorites list. Although the empanada or arepa is unique in taste, the texture of Mamun Bhai's thin layer of pastel is, in a word, incomparable.Whenever I come to this stand, my default order is the Beef & Cheese (beef and cheese) filled pastel. There are specific reasons behind choosing it.

When the hot cheese or cheese melts in the mouth at the very first bite and the taste of well-cooked minced spicy beef mixes with it, it feels like entering another world of taste. This mix of salty-creamy flavors of meat sauce and cheese is hard to find anywhere else, as Mamoon Fried House does it in perfect proportion. The real magic of this dish lies in its temperature. When the smoky pastel from the pan comes into hand, the color is also pleasing to the eye. When Mamun Bhai serves his special chutney or sauce on the side, every bite becomes more lively.

Are there any fillings or special products that they don't offer that you'd like to see on their menu?
Located in the heart of Badarganj Upazila of Rangpur District, Mamun Fried House is not just a food shop but a trusted name for the locals. Every fried food here is mixed with the taste and tradition of the people of this region. Especially on the days of fairs or festivals, the aroma of jalapis and hot onions spreads throughout the area. Keeping in mind the traditional food habits of the people of Badarganj, the way Mamun Bhai has maintained the standard of Singara and Bundiya for a long time is really admirable. But adding some modern and fusion items to the food menu in keeping with the era can make this establishment a unique example in the entire Rangpur division.

I think 'Special Chicken Singara' can be a great addition to Mamun Fried House. If singara is made with mildly spicy chicken mince instead of plain potato puree, it will add a new dimension to Baikal breakfast. Apart from this, keeping in mind the distinct attraction among the youth towards Naga chillies, 'Naga Chicken Popcorn' or fried small pieces of spicy meat will make the table more lively. As Jilapi is very popular here, to bring innovation with Jilapi 'Rabri Jilapi' or Jilapi dipped in special thick jaggery juice can be introduced, which will increase the crowd several fold especially in winter evenings.
Also, 'sweet pumpkin chop' or a variety of vegetable pakoras using local produce from Badarganj can find a place on the menu. Usually we are used to eating potato or dal braa, but if Mamun bhai uses his charisma to make 'vegetable cutlet' with a mix of vegetables and cheese, it will be the best option for health conscious foodies. There are also opportunities here in terms of beverages; If the fried food was accompanied by something refreshing like 'Masala Cha' or lemon sorbet, the customer experience would have been complete. If Mamun Fried House can bring these varieties, it will be a 'must-have' not only for Badarganj but also for people from far and wide.VISIT' will be known as the destination.

How would you rate the prices at this stall compared to others in the area: affordable, standard, or a bit higher? From your perspective, do you think the taste and quality of their fried food justify the price?
Badarganj upazila of Rangpur district has numerous delicious food shops, but Mamun Fried House is the name of a unique passion. Just standing in front of an ordinary Chilta shop, when the sound of hot oil splashing and the aroma of spicy frying comes to the nose, one's tongue is bound to water. There is a masterful artisanal touch behind every dish at this shop, which draws the foodies of Badarganj here every afternoon. Starting from Jilapi, Panionu, Singara to Boot-Bundia, the familiar taste has become a part of the tradition of this town.

When talking about the price of Mamun Fried House food, the first thing that comes to mind is its affordable price within the reach of common people. Compared to other shops in Badarganj, the price of food here can be called 'standard' or reasonable. Interestingly, you might be able to find an item for a buck or two cheaper elsewhere, but the exceptional quality and cleanliness of Mamun Bhai's food makes that little extra cost easily worth it. Especially the taste of muchmuche jilapi or hot onion here, one bite shows that no compromise has been made in the ingredients. Use of good quality oil and right spices make every pada here healthy and delicious.

However, people's tastes are changing with time, and I think the menu of Mamun Fried House should also be affected by that change. If some innovations could be added here along with the current items, it would have become more attractive. For example, if 'Chicken Keema Singara' or 'Naga Singara' for Jhal lovers were introduced instead of the usual Potato Singara, it would have gained huge popularity among the younger generation. Besides, if there was a fusion food like 'Gurder Reshmi Jilapi' or 'Chocolate Jilapi' on festival days to bring a little variety to the traditional taste of Jilapi, it would have created a new stir in the entire Badarganj upazila. Even if the afternoon snack consisted of an item like a cheese chop or a spicy chicken roll,But more diverse customers flocked.
