I will be participating in a great engagement challenge today.I am really happy to be participating in today's engagement channel. The theme of the engagement challenge is SLC26-W3 // "Savoury Appetizers". Before participating in the great engagement challenge, I would like to thank my sister @suboohi first. I am very happy to see that you have provided two such delicious recipes. Out of them, I really liked the beef meatball recipe, so today I will share the beef meatball recipe with you.It looks as tempting as it tastes. In fact, we make such appetizers when guests come to our house.This meatball can be made in a short time and would be great as an afternoon snack with sauce.I hope you like my beef meatball recipe today, so let's get started.

What do you mean by Savory Appetizers?

Savory appetizers are delicious foods served before the main course to help whet the appetite.These foods are usually salty, spicy and flavorful etc.(Not sweet)These are usually various small recipes. Savory Appetizers Can Be Made Anytime so easily.These increase our appetite a little more.I love eating a variety of spicy and small dishes like this.These dishes can be served very easily and beautifully.To be honest, I really like this kind of food.I sometimes cook and eat various types of spicy food at home.These are very helpful in increasing my appetite.

Actually, my family really likes to eat such recipes, so I often make such recipes. So today I made this meat ball recipe. So let's see how I made the recipe step by step.

Necessary Materials

  • Beef 250 grams
  • Egg 1
  • Chopped onion 3/4
  • Green chilies, chopped 4
  • Ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Coriander
  • Oil

First step

  • First, I washed and cleaned the beef thoroughly, drained the water, and minced the meat.

Second step

  • Then I added a generous amount of chopped onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the minced meat.

Third step

  • Then I added a generous amount of salt, pepper powder, ginger paste, and garlic paste.

Fourth step

  • Now in this step, I added a generous amount of chili powder, an egg, and mixed everything well with the minced meat.

Fifth step

  • Then I mixed it well, covered it with a lid, and marinate the minced meat for about 1 hour.

Sixth step

  • After an hour, I took a small amount of the minced meat and rolled it into a round meat ball. I made all the meat balls in this way.

Seventh step

  • Then I put a frying pan on the stove and poured some oil into it. Then when the oil was hot, I put all the meatballs in it one by one.

Eighth step

  • Then I reduced the heat of the stove and slowly fried the meatballs until they were golden brown. After frying for a while, when the meatballs turned completely golden brown, I used a strainer to remove all the meatballs, drained the oil, and placed them on a plate.This is how delicious beef meatballs were made.

Last step

  • Then I arranged the meatballs beautifully on a plate with tomato sauce and coriander leaves and served them hot.It is as tempting to look at as it is delicious to eat.

Give some other examples of Savory Appetizers that you like?

I like a variety of savory appetizers.Some of these are:

  • Kabab: I really like to eat different types of kebabs. They are very delicious.This dish is very popular in our country.There are several types among kakab.For example: Sami Kabab, Shik Kabab, Chicken Kabab and Mutton Kabab etc.

  • Catlet: Another of my favorite savory appetizers is cutlets.This dish is also very popular in our country.This dish is usually made with meat, fish, potatoes, or vegetables.It's actually a type of food that's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, which I really like.Some of these cutlets are:Beef cutlets, chicken cutlets, fish cutlets and vegetable cutlets etc.

  • Chop:Chop is also one of my favorite foods.The true taste of chops is the light burnt smell on the outside and the soft meat on the inside.Some of the chops are: chicken chop, fish chop, beef chop, mutton chop, etc.

What should be the right portion of serving of appetizers?

The right portion of serving appetizers should be small and light, just enough to stimulate the appetite but not make someone full before the main meal.

In my opinion, this is how appetizers should be served:

  • 1–2 pieces per person (if fried items like samosa, shingara, cutlet, etc.).

  • ½ cup (about 60–80 grams) if it is something like chotpoti, soup, or salad.

  • Usually 50–85 grams per serving is considered a standard appetizer portion.
