"SC-S32/W1-"Today's Writing, Tomorrow's Memories"—The Personal Diary.

I woke at 6:00 a.m., the alarm soft and familiar. I spent the first twenty minutes in daily routine in bathroom. And them a few minutes stretching on my peddle bike. By then the weather had already started changing from cool to little hotter.
Then I had a cup of tea and checked the headlines on my phone. Oh no, the rates of petrol have gone up for the fourth time in the last couple of days, an increase of almost INR 7 in total. I hope the situation in Gulf improves early.

And yes, I watched the diary contest post once again as I had decided to make it my first post of the week. You know I am not in diary business but today I wanted to do one.
By 6:45 I had done a short breathing exercise and planned the day in my notebook—small goals, gentle pace. The house felt calm and the plants by the window leaned toward the morning light. But one thinks and plan something and the one sitting above has his own plans for you. And then I checked water levels in the coolers.

At 07:30 I left the house for a walk in the park which was mostly quiet, apart from a few joggers and an elderly couple filling water pots for birds near the gate.. The walking path was not crowded as the air was already hot but the grass felt soothing.
I could hear a cuckoo called persistently from a mango tree. I walked slowly, noticing small things like a stray dog dozing by a bench.

I came home at 8.10 and cleaned dust from grills of the balcony and gate. And then went for a shower which felt heavenly in this hot weather.

By 9:00 I was at the temple where the priest recognized me and offered a brief blessing, the bell’s tone vibrated pleasantly through the temple's hall.
I stood for a moment with my hands folded, my head bent, thinking of people I owe kind words to. The place was not crowded as the extreme heat had slowed down everything . The temperature was already in the range of 36 degree C. I saw a familiar woman with a kid carrying a garland. She gave me a few pieces of Misri sugar.

Then something happened which I was least expecting, I received a call from a friend, his wife was sick and he wanted my help. I left with a sense of urgency that changed the rest of my day's plan.
At 9:30 I had breakfast at home, my usual paranthas with butter and a cup of filter coffee. We had paranthas with chutney and the curd with faint tang and of course the left over vegetable. I read a couple of news items on my phone while eating and started for the hospital.

I have no car at my present location so I reached at 11:15 to hospital by metro. It was not easy to find a parking spot for my scooter at this rush hour but I managed in the end. I then had a glass of cold soda from the stall. You can watch that in the video.

At the hospital my friend was tired but smiled when they saw me. We talked about small things, our families and then handed me the prescription.
His wife was admitted to the city hospital because she had a heat stroke and was in serious condition. He gave me the prescription so I bought medicines for her.

I took the metro back and arrived home by 1.30. For lunch we had proper food. After lunch I replied to messages and a few ideas for this post I want to write later this evening.
I spent sometime talking to my daughter as we have a time difference of 4.30 hours so she was free from her official routine. I also talked to my most loved one, who hadn't wished me my birthday yet.

I then studied couple of projects in my hand and traded couple of shares and of course invested more in the market which has given me some serious jolts in last couple of days.
At about 6 pm I walked to the local Tuesday market held on our colony's gate to buy fruits and vegetables. The market was full of neighbors and the sellers calling prices loudly, as their stalls were full of seasonal items.
I bought tomatoes, and a few melons that looked ripe and sweet. I enjoyed bargaining briefly with the vendor I know, he never reduce price. The air smelled of coriander and fried snacks from a nearby stall.

I came back home by 7:30, I put the fruits and vegetables i the fridge and asked for cup of tea. I sat by the window with the cup and listened to people in the park in front of my house and of course the evening birds.
I reviewed my notes from the morning and ticked off the small goals I’d set. The day felt full with a nice walk, temple, care for a friend, and time to spend in the local market.
I then finished a simple dinner with the day’s vegetables and ate while watching film Dhurandhar on Jio Hot Star on my TV.

Before bed I wrote this entry and set ideas in my mind for tomorrow.
I am feeling a little tired from the walk and the market but my mind is quiet. I’m grateful for what I did and how my day was spent, the temple bell, a friend’s smile, the market and finally this diary post. Now I will go to bed but before dozing off I will plan what I must do tomorrow.

Thank you for reading my humble effort and day's activities.
As Per the contest rule I have not edited my images and writing my comments on other posts.
I invite my friends @josepha, @ripon0630 and @raqueluchap77 to come share your day.

Thanks for your kind evaluation and nice comments!
Hi @dove11,
You know, I am not a diary person and when I read them, I feel kinda boared but today, I thought I will do one and do it in my own way-honestly. I have tried my best but I know even my best is not the best because we have a number of talented diary writers on Steemit. Thanks for all the kindness you showed upon me.
But you really did excellent job 👏

Mi estimado @dove11
siempre es un gusto saber de ti;

Thanks ma'am @graceleon, the prices are increasing the world over and you know the reason better than I do because it all started from Venezuela. The game behind all this is oil. To be frank the prices of oil have not increased that much in India compared to other places but if the problem continues they might go up further. As far the temperature, that was 45+ when she got the heat stroke. She is out of danger now and back home.
Thank you so much for responding to my humble effort and your support as ever.

Thank you, actually despite my marketing career, I am still a private person so not comfy with revealing too many things and my wife is even more reserved as she is nt on any social media or internet apart from WhatsApp. So, I have not written many diary posts but just a few in the four years I have been on this site. Thank you young lady for your support and appearance.
Saludos cordiales @paloma11

Thank you so much for for your kind words for my humble effort which took me a lot of effort otherwise even though what I did on this day is my daily routine. However, being a private person or maybe not being photogenic and also my wife dislikes to be on internet, I avoid writing diaries even though I enjoy reading others and appreciate their routine. Thank you so much for being here and supporting me.
Saludos amigo.
That's right dear @oswaldocuarta, I am here on this site for four years but I have not done even 10 diaries so far. But in this case it came as a contest so I wanted to try it for a change. Thanks for your nice words, which will encourage me to do better. Hope to come and read how you spent your day!
When I first started out, I kept a diary, but at times I felt like I was being boring because my days were so monotonous. Later, however, I realized that it’s not just about recounting what we do, but rather what we see, learn, and enjoy.
I’ll be posting my entry soon.
I guess good for younger ones with lots of activities but the personas like me busy with projects and figures have nothing much to say. But now I am free so yes, I will try few of these at least during this contest! All the best for your diary post!
I feel so relieved to read your diary. The beauty and simplicity with which you described the small details of your day is truly nice. The morning walk, the calm atmosphere of the temple, helping a friend, chatting with family and the vibrancy of the evening market, every scene felt very real. The pictures also added to the beauty of the post and the whole diary felt like a beautiful memory.
Thanks @sadaf02, I am sure you have something better to say in your diary post. I will come and enjoy how you spent your day. Thanks and regards!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate your support. I share my diary post in the best possible way. It will be a pleasure to have you read and enjoy my daily activities. Thanks again for your kindness and best regards to you as well.
What a beautiful diary entry. Cold soda is a peaceful drink in the hot weather. I didn't watch the film Dhurandhar, I think you enjoyed this. Overall you have shared many activities during the day.
Thanks, I am not used to write diary posts so I have opened up a little extra. However, I am doing the same things almost every day so I guess I did nothing extra ordinary. Thanks for your support.
You had a wonderful day. Coming into work, finishing work, and going to the park all revealed your personal life. The day's activities were going quite well, but when you said you received a call from your friend, his wife had fallen ill. Hearing the news of such an unexpected illness really changes the atmosphere of the day. It seems very admirable to me that you rushed to your friend's wife's house after hearing about her illness. A good friend and righteous person like you is truly a symbol. Also, when your friend smiled at you, it was truly an expression of love. You tried to portray all the activities of the day very accurately, which I really liked.
Actually she was admitted in a hospital for the heat stroke she had the previous day. The guy was my junior during my serving days but considers me as his friend and mentor. I try my best to support my friends who understand the value of friendship so this was nothing extra ordinary. Thanks for your support in everything. I will come and see how your day was spent.
