Dear Steemian Friends,

I am feeling great while taking part in second week of Mind & Learn: The Psychology Journey. Indeed as my friend the contest creator @memamun said, "Psychology is an extremely important subject for the mind." Therefore in second week of season 29, I will try to do better than I did in first week. Meanwhile I invite my learned friends @riwant, @josepha and @ripon0630 to come and show their views.

Task Number 01

I did "Deep breathing exercises" 4-4-4 steps Breathing:-

I sat in a quiet place.
Paid attention to my breathing.
Breathed in for four seconds, held my breath for four seconds, breathe out for four seconds.
I gave a 5-second gap in each round, continued like this for several rounds.

My Feelings

I feel this kind of interval breathing exercises, like the 4-7 or 8 method inhale for 4 seconds, hold and then repeat forr 7 or 8 times make a real difference by activating the body's relaxation response.

Oh yes, this is more of a physiological Impact because it stimulate the vagus nerve, boosting activity to lower heart rate and cortisol levels. Then the stress hormone that fuels anxiety. I feel it This shift increases heart rate enhancing emotional ups and downs. I felt relieved.

For someone like me who is aging fast with interval breaths might refresh countering negativity faster than steady breathing alone.

Task Number 02

You said, humans have brains most advanced superior to all creatures on earth
We think big thoughts, live standard of living high,
Throughout ages, we change ourselves fully
Create, destroy, start new.

My poem

When feeling low,
stress comes binding tight,
negative thoughts swirling round.
Then activities become tonic,
Refresh our mind, help overcome stress.

I walk brisk in green parks,
Journal heart's emotions deep like some of us do
Snap macro photos of flowers, breathe calm.

Listen music or watch feel-good films,
shadows dissolve like mist in morning sun,
Negativity goes poof, refreshed fully,
It reignite spark by creator eternal,
That makes humans supreme.

I analyze this poem as "Tonic of my Mind" which shows human superiority and renewal through blending philosophical depth with everyday healing rituals.

I believe it celebrates humanity's unmatched brainpower, advanced thinking and high living standards that fuel cycles of creation and destruction while prescribing activities as a "tonic" against stress.

This poem counters negativity with hope, mirroring my interest in emotion whille living a peaceful life. Its tonic-like uplift builds to triumph humans as the creators almighty empowered us to refreshes our soul through creativity.

Task Number 03

Sneha has been in a lot of mental turmoil for the past few days, she is tired of seeing her parents' conflicts at home every day, blaming each other. Sneha thinks that maybe that is the reason for all this. Because she heard from her grandmother that her parents were not happy after her birth, because Sneha has a physical defect, she has been suffering from down syndrome since birth. She is not like normal children, because of this she has been growing up with neglect and disrespect since she was young, but her grandmother loves her, but after her grandmother's death she is in a lot of mental trauma. Besides, so much quarreling and conflict between his parents has destroyed his will to live, bullying from all sides, neglect from family members has made him decide to kill himself. And he has taken 9-10 tablets of sedative drug left by his grandmother in the dark of night, after a while his father saw him in this condition and quickly took him to the hospital, he did not die but went into a long term coma.

My point by point analysis

Parents also made mistakes like they should shouldn't have neglected Sneha due to high stress from her Down syndrome diagnosis, blaming each other instead of seeking therapy or respite care, which amplified family conflicts.

They failed to monitor her emotional state or secure medications like sedatives after her grandmother's death, allowing easy access to lethal means. Blaming her birth for their unhappiness fostered resentment rather than acceptance and skill-building support.

I think all family members contributed to bullying and disrespect, worsening Sneha's isolation and low self-esteem, common risks for children with disabilities.

After her grandmother's death, no one stepped in to provide emotional continuity or connect her to peers and services. This lack of a support network ignored resilience-building like social connectedness.

Sneha herself believed her neglect as personal fault and chose suicide without confiding in outsiders, despite past grandmother love, missing chances for help-seeking.

The characters in this story, particularly Sneha's parents and family, made critical errors in addressing her Down syndrome, emotional needs, and mental health crisis, leading to her suicide attempt and coma.
Sneha herself overlooked reaching out for external help despite her grandmother's prior support. Proactive family support and early intervention could have prevented this tragedy.

Parents should have accessed family counseling, peer support groups, and regular respite to manage stress and promote positive coping.

Task Number 04

Take five simple steps to relieve stress effectively in daily life. Each step takes just a few minutes and promotes calm.

You have created the breathing exercise video tutorial in a very helpful way, dear. I have practiced this a few times myself. I wish your success.

I like the fact that you went to a quiet place and sat down. Such a place is good for meditation and mindfulness which you have done. I admire your entry and good luck to you sir.

Thanks @mahidisalim, appreciated!
