As usual, I woke up to the sound of the call to prayer (adhan) reverberating from a mosque not far from my house. The adhan is a call for all Muslims to immediately perform the obligatory prayers. Fajr prayer in congregation is a paramount obligation that will earn abundant rewards from Allah SWT. When I woke up, I was surrounded by sunny weather and a pleasant environment. Waking up on time is an expression of gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon every servant. Praying Fajr on time is the only way to build a better life and a healthy lifestyle.
Prayer is an obligation and an activity that places great importance on both physical and mental health. The movements of prayer, which Muslims routinely perform, can improve health. The repetitive movements of prayer can serve as exercise. After performing the morning prayer in congregation, I also take advantage of the time for light exercise, walking a few hundred steps. This activity is very simple and easy for anyone to do. Walking, especially in the morning, provides numerous health benefits and maintains a healthy lifestyle.
I also regularly drink warm water when I wake up. I believe drinking two glasses of water in the morning on an empty stomach is very good for the body. Paying attention to a healthy diet is crucial for better health. Especially eating good-quality foods in the morning, such as drinking fresh water and eating a variety of green vegetables and fresh fruits that are rich in vitamins, protein, and other nutrients. In the morning, I also enjoy a cup of black coffee, but in moderation and without added sweeteners. Although it contains caffeine, it also has health benefits.
I believe there's no better way to live a healthy life than through a balanced, nutritious diet. This food should be nutritious, not just about quantity. I continue my activities by taking my family on Sundays off. Vacations with my beloved family are very effective in relieving stress from a busy routine. They also improve mood and strengthen emotional bonds between family members. Vacations with the family have also been shown to improve mental health, maintain physical fitness, and strengthen the immune system. I always spend time at home with my children and wife until the evening.
