The diary game. A Day of Faith, Errands, and Childhood Memories on the Cricket Field
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I have a good habit of rising early, as I am an early bird. I woke up straight away to perform ablution and then prayers, and thus started my day with peace, maintaining and establishing a divine connection with the Almighty. After a few hours, once I was done with making applications, I headed back to my place and went straight to bed again to stay safe from the cold wave blowing outside. Doctors have been advising people to stay indoors to avoid any health issues due to the cold wave, and for that reason, I stayed inside and remained in bed until breakfast time.
My mom had already prepared breakfast, and soon after I finished, I started my morning chores. I first logged in to do some official work that needed to be completed within a few hours because it was time-bound. Later, I had to get some documents signed that I needed to present before the Tehsildar for verification purposes. To get these documents signed, I needed to visit a gazetted officer. For that reason, I went to a nearby school, thinking some lecturers would be present there, but unfortunately, I found the school closed and no official present.
I then headed to one of my non-official acquaintances who lives near the school, but again I was unlucky. I couldn’t find him there as he had just left for Srinagar. Disappointed, I headed back to my place. After reaching home, I had my lunch, and once I was done, I went to play cricket with other boys of the village.
The place where we play cricket is just outside the village on uncultivated land, surrounded by shrubs with a stream nearby. Still, playing cricket there is quite exciting. We have been playing there since our childhood. It not only helps me stay fit but also brings back memories from my childhood days. The people I play with are the same ones who have been there since those days. Playing cricket makes us feel as if we are still children, enjoying time together just like before.
The weather in the valley has been quite pleasant these days. Although it is the winter season here, the weather has remained dry with no traces of precipitation. This allows people to enjoy sunbathing, and children are enjoying it the most, as they are making full use of their winter vacations by spending entire days outside on these small grounds.
Later in the day, I headed back home. It was time for tea and some relaxation. After refreshing myself, I read a few chapters from my engineering book. Later, I went to the market to buy some items needed at home. By around 9 PM, I had my dinner, and after spending some time on social media, I went to sleep.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
