Task 01

Describe your techniques for controlling anger and emotions. What is your reaction in that moment when you get excessively angry?

Controlling anger and emotions is very important for a person because without controlling anger and emotions in the world, there is conflict and war between people. I adopt some methods to control my anger and emotions. I have mentioned some methods to control my anger and emotions below.

  • First of all, when I get angry, I keep myself quiet for some time and calm my mind. I try to talk less because talking will increase my anger. After some time, my anger decreases due to talking less, and I do not exaggerate about the matter. I have controlled my anger in many incidents in my life in the above way. This is the way to control my anger the most in my life.
  • I keep looking for my own mistakes to control my anger. I am doing something wrong somewhere, so it has reached a stage of anger. A little patience helps me control my anger, so patience is very important to control anger.
  • To control anger and emotions, you have to be forgiving. That's why I forgive people when I'm angry. If you control your anger and forgive, everything becomes easier. When I get angry, I stay silent for a while, forgive, and then move away from there.
  • Sometimes when I get angry at home or at work, I go for a walk in nature, under the open sky, or by the river for a while. Then my anger subsides a little.
  • I spend some time alone to control my anger and sit in a chair, and close my eyes for some time. Sometimes, during times of anger, I share it with my close friends or office colleagues and seek advice.

Task 02

Perform a progressive muscle relaxation exercise, record a video, and write in detail how effective it is for you

Before doing progressive muscle relaxation exercises, I was restless and tired. I had low concentration due to working in the office and felt irritable in the late afternoon. After doing this exercise, I tensed my legs, shoulders, arms, and muscles and slowly released them. After doing each step for three to five seconds, my body started to feel lighter, and my mind calmed down.

After finishing the exercise, I felt calm and relaxed. I felt less angry, irritated, or anxious than before. I felt good. I will do these exercises next time I get angry about something at the office.

Task 03

There will be a short story, read the story and express your own thoughts.

Mr. Deepak comes home from a government job and quarrels with his wife every day, and this happens in many families in our country. I think it is because of Mr. Deepak's lack of real education. Since Mr. Deepak is a government employee, he is certainly an educated man. A truly educated man cannot return home and quarrel with his wife. I would like to give an example from my life.

My father was a school teacher and was very angry. My father is no longer alive. My father used to come home from school every day and get very angry. This had a great effect on us as children. Whenever I heard my father coming home from school, everyone in the house would be quiet. My father's anger had a great effect on my life when it came to education.

Deepak's daily anger may have made his wife lose patience and protest. Deepak could not control his anger and hit his wife. If Deepak had controlled his anger, he would have been happy with his wife and family. Some people have God-given anger. However, nowadays, there is modern psychological treatment for excessively angry people. I think people who cannot control their anger should consult a modern psychologist.

In Deepak's case, he should have consulted a psychologist beforehand. I think excessive anger or inability to control anger is a disease. Through Deepak's story, I want to tell all Steemian friends that if you control your anger, you can avoid many unwanted incidents. If you cannot control your anger, quickly consult a psychologist.
