Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Hope everyone is well. You start in the name of God. The One who created me. On the way, after the end of the fourth week, we got the fifth week contest. My Dear Apu @ashkhan Related To Exercise Related Physical. He is teaching very beautifully. According to his teachings, I will try to answer my questions correctly. Let's get started.

What's Plantar Fasciitis? Write in your own words after getting knowledge from the lesson post.

Plantar fasciitis is a disease related to ankle pain, this disease causes ankle pain, plantar fasciitis is when there is inflammation of the elastic tissue of the ankle, a tissue called plantar fascia that is located in the ankle is inflamed for any reason, then the ankle pain starts, and the pain-related disease is plantar fasciitis.

  • Causes of Plantar Fasciitis: Excess weight: If the weight is not maintained according to the height, that is, if the weight of the person is more than the height, then there is extra pressure on the plantar fascia and due to the pressure of the plantar fascia is inflamed, resulting in plantar fasciitis.

  • Excessive walking: If one walks or runs a lot every day, then gradually inflammation of the plantar fascia develops and the chances of getting plantar fasciitis increase.

  • Do not wear comfortable shoes: Comfortable shoes are very important for the feet. In daily life, we have to walk in different places for work, if comfortable shoes are not selected, then inflammation can occur in the plantar fascia.

  • Age: Older people are more prone to plantar fasciitis.

  • Symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis: To understand whether plantar fasciitis is affected, it should be noticed whether there is severe pain in the ankle, severe pain due to walking and standing, or pain in walking in the morning.

Medical:-

First of all, if you are overweight, you have to control the weight. and stretching exercises.
Comfortable shoes, and physical therapy should be taken.

How would you diagnose a plantar fasciitis? Any clinical investigation or assessment tests?.

To diagnose plantar fasciitis, the patient's medical history must first be taken. In this case, the patient should ask his problems, such as whether the patient's ankle hurts, whether the pain increases when walking, whether the pain is felt more in the morning, etc.

After this, the diagnosis has to be made, in which some physical examination is given, which is identified by whether plantar fasciitis is really infected.

  • X-ray: It is used to see if there is any bone problem in the ankle.

  • Ultrasound: This test detects inflammation of the ankle.

  • MRI: MRI detects any injury or inflammation in the tissues of the ankle.

  • Plantar fasciitis is usually diagnosed through these tests.

Try to practice at least 3 exercises that you have learned from the lesson. Share images, gifs or videos while practising..

Ball Rolling

This exercise is a very beneficial method for plantar fascia. Doing this exercise relieves the pain of the plantar fascia, increases the blood circulation of the feet, keeps the ankle structure right. It also has many other benefits.

Heel Raise Exercise :-

This exercise is very beneficial for people suffering from plantar fasciitis, this exercise reduces ankle pain, improves foot structure, increases foot blood circulation, increases ankle elasticity.

Toe Curl Exercise:-

This exercise relieves the pain of plantar fascia, helps to strengthen and improve the muscles of the feet, increases the blood circulation of the feet, increases the elasticity of the ankle, helps to maintain the balance of the feet.

Share your review after performing these exercises either on yourself, healthy individual or patient.

My experience of applying the exercises on myself is as follows.

  • As a result of applying these three exercises on myself, I felt stress-free and comfortable. And I was feeling much more refreshed and stress-free, before I used to feel pain in my ankle while walking, going up the stairs, but doing these exercises made me feel a little less pain. This exercise has also helped reduce my leg fatigue.

  • I conducted this exercise on a patient, who also felt less ankle pain as a result of doing the exercise. He also felt stress-free. As a result of this exercise, he got better sleep, his ankle pain seemed less than before, and he felt less tired. I think this exercise is beneficial for both healthy and sick.

After I read this chapter on exercise, I gained knowledge from there and presented them. I do not know if I can give it correctly, but by reviewing you very nicely, I request you to correct my mistakes and errors. Thus, before I am leaving now, I am inviting some of my friends. They are. @wilmer1988 @irawandedy and @suboohi Maam..

Thank you for understanding the lesson and sharing your assignment; I hope that you will enjoy this week's lesson and try to implement it in your life if you see any such case.

Observations

Task 1 (2/3)
You try to share good knowledge about plantar fasciitis but misunderstood it's location plantar fasciitis occurs on heel not your ankle joint or you can say on your sole of the foot. But you share it's symptoms, and causes correct. I appreciate your effort.

Task 2 (2.3/3)
In the second question, you tell us about how you have to assess a patient by doing physical examination and history taking, performing investigations but you didn't add the special tests like heel raise, ankle dorsiflexion, windlass test and many more. Good.

Task 3 (4/4)
You try the toe curls, ball rolling and heel raise. You did the toe curls, heel raise and ball rolling correctly. Always remember to cold therapy & rest is the best therapy in the treatment of plantar fasciitis. I appreciate your efforts.

Overall you made a great attempt to answer all the questions. I appreciate your efforts. But next time try to avoid the above written suggestions. Keep learning and try to implement your knowledge to the people suffering from plantar fasciitis or any type of heel pain. Thank you.
