01. What kind of City Landmark Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it.
As a city landmark zone, I visited a mosque from the Pakistan era in our town. It is a unique example of Islamic architecture in our area.
The mosque is named Dakkhinpara Jame Masjid, one of the oldest mosques in Parbatipur town. The mosque was founded by the late Alhaj Monir Uddin Pramanik and established in 1934, during the British colonial period.
Previously, the back area of the mosque displayed the flag of Pakistan, which has now been replaced with the flag of Bangladesh. The mosque is located in Dakkhinpara, very close to the Parbatipur Stadium. You can reach the mosque by a local van for just 10 BDT, or it takes about 10 minutes on foot.

Some rare and unique designs can be seen both inside and outside the mosque. The mosque has several domes, and the microphone is placed on a tall pillar-like structure. The mosque also offers modern facilities, including a well-maintained ablution area.
