Dakshinpara Jama Masjid

01. What kind of City Landmark Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it.

As a city landmark zone, I visited a mosque from the Pakistan era in our town. It is a unique example of Islamic architecture in our area.

The mosque is named Dakkhinpara Jame Masjid, one of the oldest mosques in Parbatipur town. The mosque was founded by the late Alhaj Monir Uddin Pramanik and established in 1934, during the British colonial period.

Previously, the back area of the mosque displayed the flag of Pakistan, which has now been replaced with the flag of Bangladesh. The mosque is located in Dakkhinpara, very close to the Parbatipur Stadium. You can reach the mosque by a local van for just 10 BDT, or it takes about 10 minutes on foot.

02. How were the services and history both inside and outside? (With pictures + prices, videos)

The experience of the mosque, both inside and outside, in terms of history and facilities, is truly remarkable. The architectural style of the mosque is the most impressive aspect. The walls and doors are adorned with intricate designs and calligraphy, which are very beautiful and visually captivating.

Some rare and unique designs can be seen both inside and outside the mosque. The mosque has several domes, and the microphone is placed on a tall pillar-like structure. The mosque also offers modern facilities, including a well-maintained ablution area.

The mosque is very popular among visitors. Many people come to see it, especially those interested in Islamic architecture, and those who wish to visit it at least once. For architecture enthusiasts, it is a very attractive place. The mosque looks beautiful both from the inside and outside.

04. Share your 24-hour experience & Show signs of historical places directly

Speaking of my 24-hour experience, the mosque is beautiful to visit from morning to night. In the morning, the cool and calm atmosphere of the mosque feels very refreshing. The mosque is designed to remain cool inside, and fans are installed for comfort.

At noon, the intricate designs and the beauty of the domes are clearly visible. In the afternoon and evening, the calligraphy on the walls becomes more vivid under the soft light. As the House of Allah, the mosque is a peaceful place for worship, and its tranquil surroundings allow for uninterrupted prayers.
