SLC-S29/W2-Mind & Learn : The Psychology Journey "Stress Relief"

in Steem For Lifestyle18 days ago

Peace be upon you dear friends,

Depression is a reality of today's era from which hardly any person can escape completely. The race of life, responsibilities, relationship problems and worries about the future keep the human mind constantly burdened. That's why this week turned out to be very important for me because it gave me an opportunity to understand and manage my mind. Below I present my participation according to the four tasks, with a slightly different approach and personal feelings.

Do stress relief meditation, do any form of exercise. Share the video and let us know how effective it is for you.

I chose Mindfulness Meditation this time. I took a quiet room, swapped off my mobile and sat up directly and closed my eyes. In the start, the brain kept drifting, sometimes about the history, occasionally about the future. But gradually I focused on my breathing. I did this meditation for about 6 minutes.

My personal experience:

Marked reduction in heart palpitations
The mind is light and calm
The inner restlessness felt less
Advantages:
Decreased stress
Increased self-awareness
Control of negative thoughts
Improved endurance and stamina
It is a process that provides inner peace to a person without any cost.

Share any creative activity, such as painting, writing poetry, or crafting.

I created a short story for this task.
Story: Silent Scream
A youngish man was seen beaming everyday, but there was clamor inside him. He listened to everyone, but no one heeded to him. One day he started writing. Put your pains on paper. In time his silent scream turned into words, and he began to live again.

Lesson:

Every human being has a story inside
Expression reduces stress
Creation saves man from being broken
This story illustrates how important creative expression is to mental health.

There will be a short story, read the story and express your own feelings.

The biggest mistake in Sneha's life was the loneliness that was imposed on her.

Errors:

Parents constantly fighting
Considering Sneha's illness as a burden
Don't give emotional support
What should have happened?
Parents should have been responsible and informed
Sneha should have received love, acceptance and protection
The family should have taken his mental state seriously
This story teaches us that neglectfulness and inattention can be hazardous to any life.

Create an infographic about the 5 steps of stress relief.

I chose these five steps based on my mental experiences:
1️⃣ Make friends with your breath
2️⃣ Talk to yourself positively
3️⃣ Spend some time in silence every day
4️⃣ Take up a creative activity
5️⃣ Share your grief with a trusted person
If these five steps are followed consistently, peace of mind is possible.

Concluding thoughts

This week's activities tutored me that pressure is n't a debilitation, but a signal that we want to pay concentration to ourselves. numerous tailspins can be eluded if we stop and hear to ourselves in time.
I invite three of my friends to participate in this useful contest:
@mohammad1076
@abdullaht
@maryam86
@sadaf02
Finally, my heartfelt thanks to Sir @memamun, who presented such an important topic like mental health in such a beautiful way.

Best Regards,
@taaher1

Peace be upon you
You shared a very meaningful and thought provoking piece of writing. You have described stress and its effects very realistically. The practice of mindfulness meditation is especially rewarding. As it focusing on the breath really relaxes the mind and heart. The Silent Scream story is nice. Your analysis of the story of sneha was also very effective. It teaches the importance of emotional attention and support. The five tips for peace of mind are simple but very effective. Thanks for sharing your thoughts so beautifully, best wishes for the competition.
