I recently visited a popular roadside Phuchka and Belpuri shop in the Mohakhali Wireless Gate area of Dhaka. It is basically a street food shop, where countless people flock every day to enjoy their favorite spicy and sour dishes. Although the shop is not very big, it is quite famous in the area due to its taste and popularity. These dishes prepared in a simple environment give a kind of local taste and fun experience.
How were the services and history both inside and outside? (With pictures + prices, videos)
Since it is a roadside shop, there is no separate seating arrangement inside; the entire environment is under the open sky. People enjoy the food standing outside or sitting around. The shopkeeper is very sincere and provides quick service, which is very important for such a busy place.

This shop is known to have been in business here for a long time, and its consistent good taste has made it a place of trust among the locals. Every effort is also made in terms of cleanliness. The shopkeeper's awareness is especially visible in keeping the water, spices and ingredients fresh.
What are the special dishes of that place?
The most popular dish of this shop is Phuchka, which is very tasty and a great mix of sweet and sour. Also, Belpuri is available here of very good quality. The taste of Phuchka filling, tamarind water and spices is so balanced that once you eat it, you want to eat it again and again.
In particular, the Phuchka water here is very fresh and deserves special praise for its sour and spicy taste.

From my 24-hour experience, this place is most lively in the afternoon. Then people of different ages, friends, family or classmates come together to enjoy this street food.
The way the food is served is also quite interesting. The shopkeeper first fills the small round Phuchkas with potato filling, chickpeas, onions and spices. Then they are dipped in tamarind water and handed over to the customers one by one. It is usually served on small plates or paper bowls. The whole process is done very quickly and efficiently, which is as good as it looks and tastes.
All in all, this small phuchka shop at Mohakhali Wireless Gate has been a great experience for me. Where one can enjoy a kind of vibrant street food culture with a combination of taste, environment and crowd.
