Introduction

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I hope that we all are doing great just as I am doing. Today I bring to you all another episode of the top most expensive NFTs in the NFT marketplace.

Without much ado, let's continue with the top expensive NFTs in the market Which I hope and believe that you all would like and enjoy it.

You might be puzzled and amazed at these NFTs being sold at that huge amount but maybe we might get to know some reasons they are being sold at those prices. I myself was surprised seeing those NFTs sold at that high amount.

Today I would share with you all the next top three expensive Non Fungible tokens in this article and I would come out with the other expensive NFTs in my next article so watch out for more after this article.


No 1. Beeple's "The First 5000 Days" — $69 million


First, on the list, today is the Beeple's "the first 5000 days" which is the third most expensive NFT. This NFT was created by Mike Winkelmann. He created this artwork by emerging 5000 images of different kinds. Wow, this is marvelous work indeed. He is professionally called "Beeple" as we can find in the name above.

He commenced this work in May 2007. It took him 13 good years before he was able to accomplish this work and each and every day he post one art piece until he was able to compile this 5000 collage image.

He sold this artwork in 2021 at an auction house called "Christie's" which was founded in 1766 and specialized in fine artworks. This NFT was sold at $69,346,250 by MetaKovan who is known to be a crypto billionaire. MetaKovan was also a programmer based in Singapore as well as the founder of the Metapurse NFT project.

Beeple also gained a lot of followers after selling his artwork at that huge price . He gained about 1.8 million followers on Instagram.


No 2. Pak's "Clock" — $52.7 million


This NFT was created or designed by Pak and the founder of WikiLeaks called Julian Assange. The knowledge behind its creation was to count the number of days that Julian Assange was imprisoned.

This NFT was created to aid in raising funds for the legal defence of Julian Assange. A group called AssangeDAO came out and pulled resources together to buy this NFT in support for the WikiLeaks founder.

This AssangeDAO was consisiting of cypherpunks and they were able to win for the bid of this NFT at a price of ETH 17,422 (55.8 million).


No 3. Beeple's "HUMAN ONE" — $28.9 million


Again this NFT called the "Human One" was created by Beeple which was sold for almost $29 million. This artwork was bought by Ryan Zurrer at the Christie's 21st Century evening sales on November 2021.

The artwork was really amazing and beautiful one of course. It has a dynamic sculpture with an astranaut moving in different environements. Beeple upon selling the artwork to Zurrer, he promised to make sure the artwork keeps on moving and doesnt remain static so as a matter of that Beeple has remote access to it so he can make any updates whenever there is the need to do so.

No 4. Larva Labs' "CryptoPunk #5822" — $23.58 million


This is another Punk NFT created which has 1 attributes which is the "Bandana". It is found that 481 crypto punks have this attribute "Bandana". This NFT purchase was set as a record sales of CryptoPuks NFT in history and it was purchased by the CEO of Chain, Deepak Thapliyal.

He purchased this NFT for $23.7 million which is almost $24 million.

The CryptoPunk #5822 has a characteristic feature of a blue alien with a bandana. This NFT was sold on the 12th of February, 2022. That is just currently, and also it was found that this NFT was originally purchased at 1 ETH i.e. $2,000.

Currently there is no bids on this CryptoPunk and the current owner of this NFT is with the address, 0x685acac8cffcd23525.
