Founder of Ethereum, Vitalek Butrin Makes A Bold Claim - (10% to TFC)

Recently, Vitalek Buterin made a bold statement on twitter saying “Facebook’s attempt in Metaverse will misfire”.
Metaverse like most of us got to know this term through Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg when they decided to change their parent name to Meta promising to make significant investments in the Metaverse technology.
Metaverse technology is an idea the world hopes to materialize with its main aim being, making the human race feel or experience the real world through virtual reality or technology.
There are already attempts by some projects to integrate the Metaverse technology. These include decentraland, axie infinity, etc.
However, it looks like Metaverse will be incorporated into the world via the cryptocurrency world because some of the projects already in place head in this direction.
The whole idea behind Metaverse now looks very broad and not very clear in my opinion which everyone is trying to understand. At first glance, I thought Metaverse will just be a gaming reality but it looks like it’s going to be more than that. It seems Metaverse technology will allow people have business meetings virtually with their avatars giving them that real world feeling.
Vitalek Buterin in his tweet explained that the whole idea behind Metaverse is quite unclear and it’s impossible to know what people want at this time.
He believes the concept is too general at this point and shared the same thoughts as Dean Eigenmann who is struggling himself to understand the whole concept of Metaverse.
It’s under Dean Eigenmann’s tweet he left such a bold statement.
He does however believe Metaverse will happen but not with the current attempts by Facebook or Meta and others.
It won’t be surprising if this picks up a lot of pace and causes a stir in the crypto world because Vitalek Buterin as the co founder of Ethereum is a popular figure and one of the key players.
I wouldn’t be surprised if more known or high profile players respond to Vitalek’s tweet sharing their opinions. You can already see that the tweets have gained a lot of attention, replies and retweets.
