Dear friends of the ITALY community,

Welcome to the 1st episode of our new contest Photo Time!

The passing of time will be the protagonist of our weekly event. Certainly, no one can stop its progress, but fortunately, we all have the opportunity to "capture it" through the lenses of our cameras or smartphones.

Are you ready to show us your personal interpretation of time passing?

  HOW TO PARTICIPATE  

In a post to be published in the ITALY community, show through two or more photos your idea of "time passing," adding a description of the scene.

It doesn't matter how long this time interval is: the photos can capture moments years, months, days, or even just a few seconds apart. However, the main subject must remain the same in all the photos chosen to participate in a single episode of the contest.

Examples of possible subjects to capture:

• A small plant just sprouted from the ground and the same plant grown after a few weeks;

• Your pet as a puppy and as an adult;

• A calendar hanging on the wall in one month and the next;

• A cup of coffee full and the same cup empty after drinking it;

• A pizza dough and the finished pizza just out of the oven;

• A clock showing different times of the day;

• A garden at dawn and at sunset.

In short, there are no limits to creativity and imagination, which are very important and will be evaluated equally with the quality of the proposed photographs.

  RULES  

• Only one entry per week is allowed for each user.

• The photos must be taken by the participant and cannot be reused in future episodes. Photos taken from the Internet or created with Artificial Intelligence are not allowed!

• The post can be written in any language, but it must include "Photo Time" in the title, plus an optional subtitle of your choice.

• Use the tag #phototime and, optionally, the one for your country of residence.

• A description of the scene and some details about the camera/smartphone used to take the photos are appreciated.

• Upvotes and Resteems are not required to participate in the contest, but they are greatly appreciated, as is sharing on other social networks to support this and future initiatives.

  PRIZES  

The @italygame team reserves the right to choose the posts it considers best and that meet all the requirements for participation in the contest.

The winners will be announced in the next issue of Digitaly following the post's publication.

The prizes will be as follows:

• 1st place: 40% of the rewards from the next contest post;

• 2nd place: 20% of the rewards from the next contest post;

• 3rd place: 10% of the rewards from the next contest post.

📢 BUT BEWARE....

The prizes don't stop here: each month, the readers of Digitaly will choose the most beautiful photo among the weekly contest winners. This photo will receive an additional prize, and the user will be awarded the special "TOP PHOTOGRAPHER" label for the relevant month!

  FAQ  

Can I participate with the same photos for multiple weeks?
No, every week the photos must be new.

Do I have to participate with two photos?
No, you can participate with more than two photos, as long as the main subject remains the same in all of them. It is also possible to participate with just one photo, as long as the concept of "time passing" is still captured (e.g., a man standing next to a portrait of himself painted several years earlier).

Can I participate with drawings?
Yes, as long as they are handmade by the participant and still capture the concept of "time passing." Drawings created with software or Artificial Intelligence are not allowed.

Can I participate with photos taken from the Internet?
No, the photos must belong to the participant.

Can I participate with AI-generated photos?
No, but if you are passionate about AI, you can participate in the "Create an Image" contest of the Digitaly magazine.

benvenuti al 1° episodio del nostro nuovo contest Photo Time!

Il tempo che passa sarà il protagonista del nostro appuntamento settimanale. Di certo, nessuno può arrestarne l'avanzata, ma tutti fortunatamente abbiamo la possibilità di "catturarlo", attraverso gli obiettivi delle nostre macchine fotografiche o degli smartphone.

Siete pronti a mostrarci la vostra personale interpretazione del tempo che passa?

  COME PARTECIPARE  

All'interno di un post da pubblicare nella community ITALY, mostrate attraverso due o più fotografie la vostra idea di "tempo che passa", aggiungendo una descrizione della scena.

Non importa quanto dilatato sia questo intervallo temporale: le fotografie possono immortalare momenti distanti anni, mesi, giorni o anche solo qualche secondo. Il soggetto principale tuttavia, deve rimanere lo stesso in tutte le fotografie scelte per partecipare alla singola puntata del contest.

Esempi di possibili soggetti da immortalare:

• Una piantina appena spuntata dalla terra e la stessa piantina cresciuta dopo qualche settimana;

• Il proprio animale domestico da cucciolo e da adulto;

• Un calendario appeso alla parete in un mese e in quello successivo;

• Una tazzina di caffè piena e la stessa tazzina vuota dopo averlo bevuto;

• L'impasto di una pizza e la pizza stessa uscita dal forno;

• Un orologio che segna ore diverse della giornata;

• Un giardino all'alba e al tramonto.

Insomma, non esistono limiti alla creatività e alla fantasia, elementi molto importanti e che verranno valutati alla pari della qualità delle fotografie proposte.

  REGOLE  

• E' ammessa una sola partecipazione a settimana per ogni utente.

• Le fotografie dovranno essere scattate da chi partecipa al concorso e non potranno essere riutilizzate nelle successive puntate. Non sono consentite foto tratte da Internet o create con l'Intelligenza Artificiale!

• Il post può essere scritto in qualsiasi lingua, ma deve recare nel titolo la dicitura "Photo Time", più un eventuale sottotitolo a scelta.

• Nel campo riservato ai tag utilizzare #phototime più eventualmente quello della propria nazione di residenza.

• Sono graditi una descrizione della scena e qualche dettaglio sulla macchina fotografica/smartphone utilizzati per scattare le foto.

• Upvote e Resteem non sono necessari per partecipare al concorso, ma rimangono molto graditi, così come la condivisione su altri social network, a supporto di questa e delle future iniziative.

  PREMI  

Il team di @italygame si riserva di scegliere i post che ritiene migliori e che rispettino tutti i requisiti richiesti per la partecipazione al concorso.

I vincitori verranno comunicati nel numero di Digitaly immediatamente successivo alla pubblicazione del post.

I premi assegnati saranno i seguenti:

• 1° classificato: 40% delle rewards del successivo post del concorso;

• 2° classificato: 20% delle rewards del successivo post del concorso;

• 3° classificato: 10% delle rewards del successivo post del concorso.

📢 MA ATTENZIONE....

I premi non finiscono qui: ogni mese verrà scelta direttamente dai lettori di Digitaly la foto più bella tra quelle vincitrici dei concorsi settimanali. Ad essa verrà assegnato un premio supplementare e all'utente la speciale etichetta "TOP PHOTOGRAPHER" del mese di riferimento!

  FAQ  

Posso partecipare con le stesse foto per più settimane?
No, ogni settimana le foto dovranno essere inedite.

Devo per forza partecipare con due fotografie?
No, è possibile partecipare con più di due fotografie, a patto che il soggetto principale delle foto rimanga lo stesso. E' inoltre possibile partecipare anche con una sola fotografia, a patto che venga catturato lo stesso il concetto del "tempo che passa" (esempio: la foto di un uomo accanto ad un suo ritratto, dipinto alcuni anni prima).

Posso partecipare con dei disegni?
Sì, purché si tratti di disegni fatti a mano in prima persona da chi partecipa al contest e che catturino ugualmente il concetto di "tempo che passa". Non sono ammessi disegni realizzati attraverso software o Intelligenza Artificiale.

Posso partecipare con fotografie tratte da Internet?
No, le fotografie dovranno appartenere all'utente che partecipa al concorso.

Posso partecipare con fotografie generate dalla IA?
No, ma se sei un appassionato di IA puoi partecipare al concorso "Crea un'immagine" della rivista Digitaly.
