Today I'm Making an Old-Fashioned Cake, It's Called Keplang Cake
Hello Steemians lovers.
Today I'm going to make an old-fashioned cake, called Keplang cake.

So, because I made this old-fashioned cake, my neighbors' moms are fighting over it because it's delicious and super simple to make.
I used 300 grams of glutinous rice flour,
75 grams of rice flour
150 grams of grated coconut
1/2 teaspoon of salt
250 ml of hot coconut milk
Then I stirred all these ingredients until evenly distributed.

Next, I brought 250 ml of coconut milk to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent it from curdling.

Then I immediately poured it into the dough, just a little at a time while stirring. Once it was warm, I kneaded it with my hands and added all the coconut milk. I continued kneading until thoroughly combined.

I divided the dough in half, then added the green and yellow paste to get a beautiful green color.

To ensure even results, I used a fairly full tablespoon, friends. Then I formed it into a ball and flattened it, as in this photo.

Once it's done, I'll fry it in hot oil.

Don't use high heat. Once it's firm, flip it over and over until it turns golden brown. Once it's firm, I remove it and drain it.

I fried this twice. In another pan, I added granulated sugar and water. I cooked it over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar thickened slightly, like this.

Then I added all the cookies, stirring quickly. I turned the heat down a bit more to form this shape.

There you have it. Some people say it's keplang cake.
😋

No wonder my neighbors' mothers are fighting over this. This is an old-fashioned cake, delicious, sweet, savory, and really bouncy.

Enjoy trying it 🙂
Thanks You.
