During the summer of 2024 I was in Cesenatico, a well-known tourist resort in Romagna (Italy)
The photos I took were taken from the center of the square.
This is the central square of Cesenatico, where various summer events are organized. There may be concerts or festivals.
On the side of the square that faces the sea, always in the summer, a Ferris wheel is installed, from which you can see the entire Riviera Romagnola.
To the southeast of the square we find the well-known skyscraper of Cesenatico. This building is one of the most recognizable architectural symbols of the city of Cesenatico. The skyscraper is 118 meters high and has 34 floors. It was built between 1955 and 1958 and at the time it was one of the tallest skyscrapers in Italy. This skyscraper is the testimony of an era, it testifies to the strong tourist development on the Riviera Romagnola.
To the northwest of the square is the Grand Hotel of Cesenatico. A luxurious Art Nouveau hotel that is 50 meters from the beach.
To the southeast we have the main street of Cesenatico that ends right on this square, Via Roma. On this side there are luxurious apartments that have sky-high prices, so only those who have a lot of money can afford them.
Personal considerations
Piazza Andrea Costa is the largest and most important square in Cesenatico. This square has maintained its beauty intact from the 1950s to today.

Durante l’estate 2024 sono stato a Cesenatico, una nota località turistica della Romagna (Italia)
Le foto che ho scattato sono state fatte dal centro della piazza.
Questa è la piazza centrale di Cesenatico, nella quale vengono organizzati diversi eventi estivi. Ci possono essere dei concerti o delle sagre.
Sul lato della piazza che guarda il mare, sempre d’estate, viene installata una ruota panoramica, dalla quale si può vedere tutta la riviera romagnola.
A sud est della piazza troviamo il conosciuto grattacielo di Cesenatico. Questo edificio è uno dei simboli architettonici più riconoscibili della città di Cesenatico. Il grattacielo è alto 118 metri ed ha 34 piani. Fu costruito tra il 1955 ed il 1958 e all’epoca era uno dei grattacieli più alti d’Italia. Questo grattacielo è la testimonianza di un'epoca, esso testimonia infatti il forte sviluppo turistico sulla Riviera Romagnola.
A nord ovest della piazza c’è il Grand Hotel di Cesenatico. Un lussuoso hotel in stile liberty che dista 50 metri dalla spiaggia.
A sud est abbiamo invece la via centrale di Cesenatico che finisce proprio su questa piazza, via Roma. Su questo fronte ci sono dei lussuosi appartamenti che hanno prezzi da capogiro, quindi se li possono permettere solo chi ha molti soldi.
Considerazioni personali
Piazza Andrea Costa è la piazza più grande e più importante di Cesenatico. Questa piazza ha mantenuto intatta la sua bellezza dagli anni ‘50 ad oggi.
