I have not seen those movies, but if it is something common, sometimes we find aromas that remind us of our childhood.
It has also happened to me with recipes prepared by some relatives, even if we try to imitate it, it never tastes the same as our grandmother's or mother's recipe. Thanks for commenting. Regards.
