Limited space and complete freedom.

You know, you can only understand that our space is limited when someone tells you about it. Yes, this understanding comes from outside; this knowledge, for example, came to the inhabitants of some continents or islands only when the Chukchelanders arrived and made them understand that the world was much larger and they were enclosed by an invisible wall of coastlines and vast oceans.

I think this wasn't the most pleasant news, since the islanders could have lived happily up until that moment, and suddenly their idyll was shattered by such news.

Also, we don't like it when someone limits our space, but we ourselves easily limit it to others, for example, when holding a cat within the walls of an apartment, or examining a beetle, the movements of a cat are limited by the plane of our palm.

It's truly frustrating and annoying when you want to see and learn more, but someone has made sure your horizons are narrowed.

As for freedom, against the backdrop of a limited space, it feels like permissiveness, like someone letting a dog sleep on their bed, or something else where social distancing is required, but that's already a restriction on freedom :)
