Spring bells.
Alarm is probably the most appropriate word for those days when, after a long winter, I begin to hear spring bells trying to outshout each other.
Yes, copper sounds a little different, but what else can you call the sounds made by heavy drops of water falling from the icicles that decorate the rooftops, encountering obstacles in their path, which emit a monotonous boom-boom-boom!
These sounds are pleasant to the ear, but after quiet winter nights, you need to gradually get used to such sounds, and after a couple of days, these sounds, like the clatter of a train's wheels, begin to lull you to sleep.
This is not the first February when warm weather wakes up the bees wintering in their hives, but I don’t know if they woke up so early this year; I haven’t seen them yet, but I think that they too hear these sounds of spring coocols and are getting ready to go out for their first meeting with the sun in the new year.
