There's no reason to hate tomatoes yet :)
There's no reason to hate tomatoes yet, I told myself today when I decided to continue working on a drawing that began to appear under layers of carafe paper two days ago.
Even people with tomato allergies, or even increased stomach acidity, can't quite blame tomatoes for their woes, much less me, who's just trying to draw tomatoes.
Yes, things aren't turning out as I'd like, but the work continues.
The difficult thing is that the work was fairly spontaneous, and all the ideas fed into one another, so there's a certain amount of creative freedom.
But in any case, I'm still searching for the tomato I like.
Two days ago, I finished this stage of the work. Here's a link to the post about the beginning of the work: https://steemit.com/world-of-xpilar/@barski/timid-steps-through-the-tomato-patch-with-a-pencil-in-hand
Today I alternated between working on the texture of the tomato and the fruit itself.
While working on the leaf wasn't a problem, I wasn't happy with the shape of the tomato.
We were dividing the orange; there are many of us, but only one... so far, this tomato looks more like an orange without the peel, but a couple of minutes ago, I realized I could change that, but tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I added a few elements to the overall landscape of this tomato patch.
As I already said, there's no reason to hate tomatoes yet :)

More to come!
