I'm not worried anymore if the weather would either be normal or extreme because we are protected by our house

I just relaxed the whole late morning until the early afternoon here in my room after going home from my dialysis treatment because again, my bedroom is more comfortable now as it has A/C and the windows are tinted so I will not be bothered by the brightness outside. The ceiling is not radiating heat anymore unto my skin which was the case in our former house but now this house doesn't heat anymore like an oven.

It is the reason why I am not worried anymore about the hot season which quite gave me so many years of discomfort due to its being old and rotten. If it wasn't for the flooding issue I might also have waited for some more years for me to build-up a new house but I have also have to consider our safety because a flooded house during rainy weeks and months is not a good thing to experience particularly for old people and sick or handicapped individuals like myself.

Now that our house is elevated and has a new roof, I am not that worried anymore when it comes to flooding because that problem is not anymore in play against my life. However if the road which we are using gets flooded, that is another issue because neither my sister or brother's car will not save me when I needed to get to my dialysis clinic which needed to happen otherwise I will basically die.

But I have another support group that I can call whenever I needed transportation and I actually have two, one is from my Barrio council's free Ambulance service and the other one is from my church (MCGI.org). We just have to call them if we needed transportation if the roads are flooded for example or if I needed to go to the hospital, they will act.

However, the Barrio's Ambulance service is not very guaranteed to service me if another patient is using it. Sometimes the driver has its own reasoning why he can't drive that day so we have no other choice but to contact my brethren from my local church.

My church officials will find ways to have me transported like either they will contact a brother on the road which will be passing our way to fetch us up if we are already in the road and stuck just like what happened about a couple of years ago when we got stranded on the road because our car will not be able to pass a flooded road in the city. The church officials communicated to one brethren which will pass by to fetch us up but it was cancelled because I was able to video call our Barrio captain so he just sent the other barrio vehicle to fetch us up instead and we just left our car parked in front of the parking space of one of the businesses nearby.

What is good about my local church is that they can also call the municipal ambulance service to pick me up from my residence and transport me me back to my home after my dialysis is done. I usually needed the transportation assistance from the Barrio council or the Church authorities if the roads are impassable to vehicles with low ground clearance.

The car which we are using is old and its suspension system is very soft now and needed to be replaced. That is why it looks like it is lowered but the truth is that it has a failing suspension system already. That is why my father is very worried if we would pass through flooded streets because for certain the car will bog down if we would happen to brave it through such flooded roads.

I ought to purchase a vehicle with high ground clearance lately, but I told myself if only my digital assets will get high in value. But they didn't and it saved me money because had I spent some of it for a vehicle which I think that I really don't need that much because I can get transportation assistance anyways plus if the old car that we are using gets broken and needs repair, I can easily make it to be repaired because it is relatively cheaper to repair it compared to the brand new car which I was eyeing to purchase before.

Now I am still in a dilemma if I really needed a new vehicle (with a high ground clearance) because my father is already old and he might not be able to drive me before the supposed warranty of that brand new car expires. If only we have a self driving taxi service, then it would certainly help me a lot. But my problem still is about relying on other people' support considering that I do not want to drag another human being with my misfortune.

Well for one thing my worries got diminished for the things that I have right now like this new house where we are safe and sound come high heat or raining cats and dogs and I am sure that God will always be with me whenever I needed his grace and mercy for the reason that God had helped me from the past and so why would I worry about the near future?
