My important items like my gadget and vitamins on the floor to protect them as radiating heat soars
It feels like it is afternoon already at around 8:00 AM outside while inside an old house like we have with a half-eaten by rust metal roof with no insulation will start to be like a warm oven where the wind coming from an electric fan doesn't make you any much comfortable but it is better with using that appliance or else, you will get the risk of suffering from heat exhaustion if not a fatal medical condition will happen to you. Everyday I feel "warm" inside, not like a comfortable type of warmth but it is a type of condition leading up to heat exhaustion it self which again can turn to be fatal if a prolonged exposure to it will remain for many hours. But in my case it is controlled because I drink fluids and I do sweat which makes my body cooler but not that normal cool because still, everything is warm in my room even until the night time because the level of humidity here in my country is high unlike in the desert where the air is dry and nothing will impede the air to get cool when the sunset happens. But here in my country, you will only get comfortable without using an air conditioner after a few hours after midnight and then will start to get warmer and hotter after 8:00 AM with the peak of hotness at around 12:00 in the afternoon until 4:00 PM, but regardless it is just drizzling hot which is why the department of education had stopped the face-to-face classroom attendance in schools to make way for the online schooling option all because of the heat of the sun.
During my high school years, the temperatures are relatively milder, as I recall the temperatures as printed in the newspaper would just say that the temperatures will be around 32-33 degrees Celsius during the days and months that the weather is hot and dry. We do have a "normal" wet and rainy season back then as well, I mean it is a season where it would rain non-stop for several days and then followed by a day or two of lull days with not much rain until the extended rains will start again for days but not much to really flood the roads unlike now where there would be a sudden onset of heavy rains which floods the whole Town alone and making all of us feel the inconvenience of getting flooded in our homes. Only the people with means of renovating their homes if not building a new one to cope with the "now normal" deep flooding whenever the "now normal" heavier than before onset of rains once it pours. Back to the unusual temperatures of the heat index of 42 degrees Celsius in some parts of my country which was unlike before, it is is just a testament that climate change is wrecking havoc in my country alone. It is good that we have been enjoying the positive side of the Internet for the reason that it can give the school-goers from the younger pre-school pupils to the College students an option to go to online classes so that they will not get exposed to the prevailing brutal heat which my country is experiencing unlike in the former times.
There isn't any working internet service in my country during my school years, in 1994 if there was, it will be very expensive considering that the Internet technology and services are not "mainstream" it is just recently, the cost of data as a service plus its fast connection went better lately that it benefitted many people about their need to communicate in real time and is now being used by the students or the education system about protecting the health of both the teachers and their learners during these times of bad climate with regards to heat of the day during these hot and dry season and also when there are widespread floods if when a Typhoon or Monsoon rains wreck havoc in my province alone.
Now, not only people are getting hammered by the excessive heat coming from the walls and roof of my house but also my gadget and my sensitive vitamins in which a few of them are very important to me that I do not really want it exposed to heat which can alter its qualities. So I am placing them to touch the concrete flooring so that the relatively colder floor will contribute about their cooling. The idea is to protect them from the radiated heat from the ceiling once the heat index really gets into action. I am also worried about my smartphone's battery being affected by heat as well which is why I am putting it on the floor protected by a food-grade plastic bag. In that way I can at least have some protection for my smartphone's battery so that I can use it for longer considering that the battery is not an original one but at least have a higher quality in comparison to the other OEM batteries which can only last a few hours in a stand=-by mode. I do have the means to buy a more decent Smartphone but I am just waiting until my earnings picks-up because I am also planning to buy a newer laptop with a better specifications for both gadgets which really had been what I want to have but it does cost a whole lot until again my ability to purchase them with ease or "not breaking my pockets" happens which I hope God-willing in the coming weeks or months.
