We already received the Smartphone I ordered for my Mother dear and she was more than happy

This is a screenshot from the unboxing video just incase that we received anything but my actual Smartphone order.

Mother burst into joy and gladness after she saw what was the content of the box from Samsung. At first she saw the crumpled pieces of paper and the phone charger and she has no idea what are those because I only told her that the parcel which we are waiting for is "valuable".

Then after she picked-up the Smartphone box itself she already knew that it was hers because I promised her that I will going to buy her a new Smartphone that she can use with a much better ease unlike her old one which I cannot even reset because it is locked to my niece's email account with a parental control and I can't uninstall the apps because i can't also unlink my niece's email account.

Doing anything from that old Smartphone will already hog all the memory so it is just pointless to use it as I can't even reset it. Now, buying my mother her new Smartphone got delayed for several months because I can't afford to sell some of my assets for dirt cheap, however I was forced to sell some anyway because the Smartphone is very essential for my mother to have as it serves as a communication tool when we need to call someone via Facebook messenger.

Anyway the Samsung A17 5G is great enough to serve my mother's needs. It has an ample amount of RAM and storage. The amount of bloatware numerous so I have to uninstall most of them. I also limited the notification for most apps except for the Facebook Messenger so that it can spare the battery some more life.

The battery can be set to charged to 80% and in that way it can extend the life of the battery. I hope that in the future, Samsung would be able to offer more "juice" to the battery because of course it will mean more operating hours for the Smartphone without needing to charge it multiple times per day considering that if we use the charge limit to 80%, we can just have lesser time to use the Smartphone.

This model also have Dolby Atmos but yuo can only use that feature if it connected to Bluetooth headset or speakers and I have yet to purchase those although my mother would probably not use it anyway. I also have to uninstall some bloatware plus that Text-to-speech App which cannot be uninstalled but can be "forced stop" because it was downloading TTS voices like Vietnamese, Polish, Russian and I don't how much but if it would download more it will hog valuable space of the Smartphone which is not good not to mention the memory. I also forced stop the Samsung Store because it is not needed and its downloads updates to some of the bloatware and maybe some of the useful Samsung Apps but my mother does not need them anyway as well.

Overall the Samsung A17 5G 8/256 is quite good and it does work better for people who needs a functional Smartphone without operational headaches like lagging in normal use without gaming included. The screen is clear and nice to watch contents which my mother does and it has a battery protection feature which stops charging at a certain level you set it to stop charging, I just set it to 80% and the phone will stop charging its battery anymore.
