Flowers in my neighbours’ gardens.

My neighbours are very keen gardeners who would spend a lot of money and time in their gardens. They have several fruit trees and lovely flowering plants including orchids. I try to visit their gardens from time to time to admire their gardens and flowers. They are very nice and allow me to admire their gardens and take many photos.

These neighbours are siblings from a big family and these sisters have retired to quiet lifestyle in the countryside. So, they have plenty of time for gardening and looking for new interesting plants for their collections.

My neighbours have some nice orchids but they usually blossom once a year. There are some small kinds of orchids which flower more often. These orchids are very easy to look after.

One of the neighbours has planted several fruit trees on her garden near the riverfront. So, in a few years we should have various kinds of fruits. The quality of soil there is quite good and rich in nutrients. The saplings will grow very fast!

Looking at their beautiful flowers, I would love to have more time and resources to improve my garden. I have very few flowers though we have several fruit trees. My neighbour offers me some flowering plants but I politely decline the offer as there’s not suitable space for them; they would need more care and attention which I couldn’t give them properly.

Hopefully, the weather would be just right for gardening this season. We do need some rain as the land is getting too dry. This summer is supposed to be quite dry; I should be doing some rain dance soon!
