Last night i booked my next work trip which starts this coming Thursday in Christchurch city South Island NZ, i was there about the same time last year and it was cold (winter eh) and it promises to be the same this time.

Today i have washed 2 x cars and filled 1 with petrol and squeezed in a little nana nap, after that i had a $20 voucher for a local liquor store so i went and got this $154 bottle of bourbon i have been wanting to get.

So it cost me $134 which is still quite expensive but it must be smooth as, will try one later today 🥃

I will be working on Christchurch for 8 days before coming back home for 6 days, then its off to Brisbane for 2 maybe 3 weeks work.

The period i will be in Brisbane falls in the school holidays so my partner (teacher) will have that time off, so i will fly her over to Brisbane for 5 odd days to do some shopping. Accommodation will be free so its just the flights i will buy her.

I will have a rental car and i plan to get a nice place right in the city so she has shopping/cafes on her doorstep while i am at work.

We have a nice sunny day so i now plan to go for a 30 minute walk around the block before i sit down and relax for the rest of the day.
