RE: The Future of Steem: Community Building is a Complicated Business!

in WORLD OF XPILAR4 years ago

Very much agree with your thoughts.

We would prefer there to be one unifying community for each country but unfortunately personality differences seem to lead to splits and breakaway communities appear within individual countries.

Likewise for topic communities - although there may be cases for subdivisions of large topic areas into separate communities.

We really really want communities to become more self-reliant and build up their Steem Power to support their own members. When we give generous votes to community accounts we very much expect those to be fully powered up - and certainly not extracted to reward individuals.

The next stage for the development of communities is for them to start reaching out to advertise themselves to the outside world and bring new people to the platform. Ideally people willing to invest and build their Steem Power.

We will be looking out to reward those communities who actively and succesfully do that.

Regarding a mobile app, for the time being, hopefully PLAY STEEM can fulfil that role.

Thank you very much for your contribution here.

Hello

We are working hard to rekindle our steemit adventure that we have left unfinished and to create new user potential, Steemit-Türkiye community in our to encourage new users. We are very happy to support them by doing some activities for the community. In this process, it would be selfish to expect support only from curator accounts.

We do our best to create our own curation by constantly instilling in the users in our community that the correct use of the votes given by the curator and the importance of SP is important. One of the biggest features that distinguishes Steemit Turkey from other communities is that it is a community token.

First of all, we want them to strengthen their personal accounts by directing the users correctly and warning them about sp. It is really difficult to get positive votes at first. Many of our high-quality content in our community just disappears without getting high ratings.

We say that in order to encourage them and keep them on the platform, they should support them by getting votes from the nutbox in return for the tr token we have created and that they should raise this support as sp. We believe that we will create our own curation in a short time thanks to the conscious people in our community. Our work on this subject will continue.

The Steemwomensclub community helps us a lot in this regard, and strives to highlight quality posts among female friends in our community.

Although we as a society have formed different communities, nobody should doubt that we will bring them all together for a single goal. We will continue to work and grow stronger. We will protect our unity, we will always continue to support each other.

In our Steem activity club community, it is aimed to gather and strengthen users from different communities by organizing various competitions. We have a dream, we will continue to work to achieve that dream.

regards

The price of steem is the main fact that people couldn't hold themselves to powerdown and not powering up. I remember when you only support 100% powerup post. That time was golden time. Everyone had a lot of steem power. Is there anyway to start that 100% power up post trend again? 200% powerup post isn't promising I guess.

Community split is a great problem. Community account losts a lot of Delegation. Beside a lot of Newcomers'. They doesn't even care of powering up or Delegation.

Yes, the increased price of Steem may trigger our greediness. But if we act accordingly that, how can we increase the value of Steem? We need to put aside our greed and believe in Steemit.

We really really want communities to become more self-reliant and build up their Steem Power to support their own members. When we give generous votes to community accounts we very much expect those to be fully powered up - and certainly not extracted to reward individuals.

I totally agree with the goal of a community should be more self-reliant and building up their Steem Power to support their own members.
As for payout reward for the community accounts expected to fully power up, this might be a bit difficult, as building a community takes a lot of time, planning, and organizing & administering a contest, especially if the participants or members are many. I think moderators who help in the process of building the community should be rewarded/incentivized with some portion of the payout reward, as I believe the majority of those coming to Steemit and offer to help to build a community expecting that their work is rewarded.

It seems that it is not easy, just look, almost all existing communities only empower a small group of community members, maybe even only their closest relatives, there needs to be an equal distribution of positive votes for members who have tried hard to work or create content so that no one feels abandoned by its own community.

To put it on behalf of the Steem Women club, we have understood your goal. That's why we get stronger by making SP for all the rewards you give. We hope that one day we will be high-voting communities without depending on you Our goal and goal is common. It pleases us that you inform us in this way. For the communities of the country, the biggest problem falls on the country representatives. Whoever is in Steemit must be a fair system. Vote for the employee and those who work. the communities of the country should also vote in this way. If not, why still there is a representative? I will provide equal support for both my community and people in my own country. Thanks for your support to us.

I agreed With You! Steemit needs people who wants to build and not just take money a leave.

I think people that work for You "CR" "curators" must encourage people to power Up

If You need a curator for a BETTER LIFE WITH STEEM PROJECT, I am available I have posted some Digest examples, and I am powering up every post I Made

If there is something that I can help With let me know

I totally agree with you sir , we should try our best to spread Steemit platform so that we could help more and more people and make them invest on steem
