I agree the old European cities offer such beautiful opportunities for drawing. When I see for example such decorated pillars or doors and windows, I am overwhelmed, just not knowing where to start. It seems that I need to do every single details but on other hand that would be too complex and probably as drawing not very interesting.

I love that sketch and your watercolour :)

Thank you again, stef1. I'm glad that you like the sketch. (As for drawing and sketching, a good rule of thumb to follow when you don't know where to start with a complex subject is: draw the big shapes first, then draw the middle-sized shapes next. Leave the details until last. I hope this tip helps you.)
