The Future of Steem: Power Up or Withdraw? @stef1 Power Up 57K within 20 months!
Hello my dear Steemians,
Once again I am on my day off and just wanted to share my thoughts about the subject that was brought up by one of the „World of Xpilar“ user @o1eh . He is issuing the statistic in our community and here is his comment that he left recently under one of my post:
Seeing this comment and the fact that it was such significant Power Up in WOX community and I was pleased to learn that the Moderators of our Community are doing Power Up. But on other hand it was a shame to find that the number of people who are Powering Up in the community is so low.
That was a reason why I decided to do posts and highlight those few users who are permanently Powering Up and it is 100% of their Payout. But also I was glad to see that those users have received the attention of @steemcurator01.
When we look at those users, one of them remains the unbeatable Mr. Power Up, he is the one who I always like to use as an example is @ronthroop.
Despite of joining Steem in Feb 2021 his Steem Power now is 2,805.915 Steem.
He started to get high Upvotes from @steemcurator01 very recently and nevertheless he already a half way to be a "dolphin"
It fully depend on yourself. If we think back about our @stef1 account, after split of Steem and Hive we decided to stay on Steem and our Steem Power was about 7000Steem. Since then due to constant Power Up action despite of organizing contests and giving away Steem for Prizes and Artist showcases as well as donation for different projects we have build up our own Steem Power.
Within last 20 months our Steem Power grown from 7,000 to 57K Steem!
That should give you an idea that everyone could build up their Steem Power if the user will be actively taking part in different activities, as an opportunity it is the support of the Steemit Team and to be honest and fair
When we think back the time of old Steemit, it was no support as such.The same example of our account we could earn only 7000 Steem from 2018 to 2020 that are 2 years.
The Steemit Team nowadays supporting many users no matter if they are new or old and if they are strong or weak. They do not oblige to do so, it is not a charity project and I do not think Justin bought it for charity aims. This support now seems to be considered as it must be. Justin Sun can decide any time just to stop the projects or maybe sell Steemit and go further, what will the user than do? That is the reason why we should build up our Steem Power now when there are so many opportunities.
I just want to bring two examples as you know that the Crypto-professors are the most supported users and actually they must have the fastest growing Steem Power.
One of them @sapwood, who has withdrawn almost the whole earned Steem 52363,227 Steem within a year and only Powered Up 872,138 Steem
The other user, who is also Crypto-Professor @kouba01
Powered Up everything for the period of last 12 months 11234,613 Steem
Thank to @starlord28 program everything is visible and that is a good side of blockchain everyone can see everything.
This is our @stef1 account the statistic for last 12 months with powering up 27,245.488 Steem
We are all interested in good value of Steem so that we can enjoy the fruits of our work, but if users keep withdrawing immediately the Steem that they earn then it never goes up. You have to look at Steem as long term investment and not just for a day survival.
@steemcurator01, it would be good if the users who are Powering Up and actively posting on Steemit platform would receive your support and encouragement. Especially who decided to do 100% Power Up.
Please do make your posts suggesting the best ones and we will try to visit them.
Or maybe even experiment with a post giving beneficiaries to the posts you consider most deserving and we give it a bigger vote for quicker spreading of votes...

@o1eh has put the spotlight on important things when we read his report. And it worries me that not many in our society want to increase their own Steem Power.
And we can also see that when we get 250-300 votes on our own posts, most are worth zero and are just dust.
I just have to admit that what I have been working for for several years to make others understand the importance of having their own SP has only reached a few.
Agree, I was also surprised to see that as we are all including the members encouraging them to Power Up. As to the trial, you are right most of the Upvotes has no value, like in the past when Curie came with its trial and it was 900+ Upvotes but in reality there were only two strong accounts and the rest of dust.
Thank you. I admit so much ignorance of the blockchain, of earnings and such. I feel that under these circumstances, ignorance is truly bliss. I like the support, and will continue to blog whether paid or not. It’s just better than Facebook® or Instagram®. I get real response. Emerson (the Ralph Waldo Type) wrote, (and I paraphrase), that the future of art will be one man (woman) trying to express to another the concerns of his (her) heart.
I’m on Steemit because I’ve been doing this sharing of my world for free for so long, and here it seems that people actually give a damn.
My greatest fault is that I wish I could find the time to interact more, but the paints await, and there’s dinner to cook...

I agree, unlike on other social media this is a real blog and the users are communicating. I actually have never being on other social media and to tell the truth no really missing it.

This is a difficult philosophical issue, everyone's drives, ambitions, human qualities...
Although Steemit is a community in a way, it is also a reward tool, and that produces a place where many opposite interests come together.
I see two ways or places from which to address your concern; in a human dimension (philosophical), or in a materialistic one. It's deep and not easy. I am inclined to idealism and would love the philosophical approach to bring a solution, but practicality tells me it's going to happen more on the other side. In this sense, the selective reward program could be a try. Sorry not to come up with more suggestions here, in this area, now.
From the philosophical perspective, and because I don't know the data, could it be possible to demonstrate with statistics that a more community driven behaviour would yield higher future rewards?
Definition of ( more community driven behaviour): Not killing the golden eggs chicken!
The Steemit itself was created on background on blockchain and any blockchain is there for many different things and not only blogging. We are the users of the Steemit and we are bloggers. There are many good bloggers and they produce great quality posts. The major problem is the more Steem Power the blogger has the visible he is. Again like you mention the side or rewards is driving the activities of Steemians.
While before split it was a lot of debate to remove rewards and just let people to blog, but we all know that people here not simply for blogging but also to be rewarded and earn some additional Crypto. In the time of the best value of Steem in 2017, it was 1 Steem=8 USD.
Of course we can't force people to post and not look at what they receive but with the support of the Steemit Team everyone has equal chances to get rewarded not like in old time in the past.
I remember the time when our posts were only Zero to $1,00, but when I started I re-started to do painting and drawing and that was a place where I wanted to learn other artists and to show my progress. You will not believe if I say that in the past I was drawing or painting every day :)
With the time we started to do curation to support others and here we are still supporting other users and hoping that Steem will be stronger.

It's really amazing to see more people using my tool. I am coming up with a DApp very soon and also made a post regarding the same. I'd love to see you use that as well.(Once it's out)
Coming to the support form @steemcurator01 to the people who do a 100% powerup, I have observed some of the users who have powered up a lot and when the price of Steem goes up, have ended up powering down everything. This is what tanks the price from time to time. You have been an amazing user and your wallet history speaks for itself. However, not everyone is like that> There are numerous content farming accounts that are powering up right now. However, (Probably) as soon as the academy program ends, they might do the opposite and power down completely. So, this is always a concern for any new investor.
I feel that it's more sustainable if old, and proven users(like you and many others) are given more support, provided that they do adhere to the frequent powerups. It really doesn't have to be 100% either(I personally know a few who do Steemit 100% and they would need to withdraw to pay their bills and stuff), but it is essential that the support is given to proven users.

Espero que volvamos a esa epoca donde nuestra crypto estaba mas fuerte, lo que si es un hecho hoy es que vamos a llegar muy lejos.

Если сравнивать старый стимит, то мы помним, что стать дельфином создавая посты было почти невозможно. Апвоут в 30$ казался счастьем. Получив такую награду ты понимал, что создал нечто интересное и выдающееся.
Сейчас же апвоут в 50 для многих стал обыденностью, а некоторые даже относятся к этому как обязательному и нормальному ежедневному событию. Мы наблюдаем очень интересный этап в жизни платформы. Новая политика дала большой шанс обычному человеку не обладающему особыми талантами, но с другой стороны это толкнуло людей креативных уходить на платформу конкурента.
Только будущее покажет кто был прав
Конкуренты сделали легко для юзера склонировав весь Стим и Стим Пошер, поэтому люди дальше так же делали посты но на другом адресе. Как вцегда фейковые новости о Джастине испугало многих которые просто перестали делать почты сдесь ис са принципа. Но ты прав будущее покажет :)

La verdad sin apoyo de otros es muy dificil crecer aquí, se requiere de interacción real con los demás, y de compromiso. Pero entiendo que aún con ese apoyo, si viene de personas que no se preocupan por desarrollar su SP, seguimos en las mismas. 🤔
Sin embargo creo que nos vamos encaminando bien, ya hay más respuestas a las publicaciones, se va entendiendo que deben expresar algo más que "buen trabajo" espero que luego entiendan que no se debe sacar todo de la billetera 😅
Yo sigo insistiendo con el poco a poco. (Entiendo que ustedes llevan años aquí viendo como funciona y yo solo un poco más de un mes) pero me gusta ser optimista al respecto.
