“London St. Pancras"

Hello dear Steemians,

Today I wanted to continue our journey to London, in previous post I mentioned that we were about 6 hours altogether on road with train and finally we were happy to arrive to London.

The main station that our train arrived was King's cross and it is very special station because it is also the place where "Eurostar" train leave London to France. Therefore, there is an area that looks like airport, there is check in with X-ray scans for body and suitcases and border control. The first time I did not notice that this is "Eurostar" train and thought that it is like in airport but then saw the notice.

Luckily the weather was nice and dry even for a short time we had sunshine and blue sky. There were not too many people around so we had not much problem to move from one station to another.

From King's Cross we needed to change to St. Pancras station and both of the stations are very close, almost opposite from each other. So from there we had to take a train to a part of London Croydon, our final destination.

The trip was enjoyable and we did not have much trouble on the way.

I like how they have actually done a quite nice job of combining the very modern architecture with the old buildings.

Wishing you a continued good journey!

It is always difficult to make train station attractive especially if that needs to be build in old cities with already busy centre, old and modern look well together, but each of them have to be fine and rich in details that usually looks great on background of such buildings :)

This London is not at all like London, which is called the Foggy Albion :)

Yes, it is know to be rainy, windy and foggy in the morning usually at Thames, I love it in spring and summer it is colourful and even very warm :)
