This is Africa and it's sad that this attitude is general here. Hardly you hear someone is doing something for fun but money. So, I'm not surprised to hear this.
Few months ago, I wanted to start a program that I would be featuring here on Steem, unfortunately , the conditions those places gave me were unbelievable.
By the way, thank you for your continues supports to them- that's humanity.
Yes, money plays a big role, but it's not just because of poverty.
Rich people are often the same (that's partly why they're rich...).
And that's not just the case in Africa....
But they have now learned at the quarry...

Everything shouldn't be about money money money or benefits.
