I have no idea. I would not talk someone into it like they did with me since it's clear that there's no one who will be on the lookout to read you.
I asked several (family, artists) and they see it as a waste of time. Why? Because they are busy and have better talks elsewhere. It's pointless for an artist to post if no one replies or the replies are "great" or AI generated. An artist needs critics.What do you mean by region?
No one present from my region any longer, not my country, Europe? A few.
Do I like other regiions? I don't do regions, I go for topics, interests.I like my tales most and next the art. I should have never joined those stupid contests I joined in 2024. They lack all creativity and the "judges" only care about friendships. I wish I could delete everything I don't like out of my account (or mute it) same for what I resteemed.
It's true, artists like us to show them our point of view, this made me remember a story I made based on a painting by my friend @romanie, she is a great artist from Spain.

Among so many posts you read, is there any region that has caught your attention? How are these users distributed globally? Are they Latino, Asian, European?
There's a lot to unpack regarding challenge contests and how winners are chosen; however, I dare say there have been contests for all tastes. In the case of topics like writing, we are currently threatened by AI-generated content creation, which could attract many users who depend on this tool and use it to try to gain votes easily.

Let's see: first of all I check those I know, next on art and creative writing which brings me to limited communities and I follow certain hashtags of my interest. I don't care too much about country or region, more about art, the creative side and if people are willing to comment/reply.
I must say I always find some new posters, mainly Asian ones which I like and European/western world.
In average I follow the thread and a poster/good commenter and check who replies and so on. This way you read and see a complete different side of Steemians and this platform, but also notice the AI written commenters.
If it comes to AI you are right. It increases again and it's hard to find a few willing to type a few words. I do ask since there are who use a translator and AI doesn't only translate but also changes the style or rewrites the story which is a huge problem.
AI can be a help to brainstorm, but the main problem is most don't know how to use it, what to ask and have no clue what they
wroteposted. Just ask in a comment and you know.You could join #pic1000 and the Art & Writing. It's a great practice.
If it comes to art you should schedule time even if it's only 30 minutes per day. The writing you can do in your mind through the day (and take notes!).

We always find users who capture our attention, especially when they share some of our tastes in content. I think it's great that you don't centralize your visits; art is important in any language and culture.
I find it interesting that you find interaction with Asians; I thought they only focused on posting.
Yes, it's essential to follow those who follow you—that is, those who constantly exchange words, tastes, and ideas. I'm clear that I've set aside this aspect a bit to dedicate myself to activities exclusive to the platform and in real life; however, I'm always aware of what's happening.
AI-generated content can be very obvious because not only do they not know how to use it, but they don't even take the time to analyze the results the AI produced.
