8 years on (steem) Steemit: A Journey of Community and Friendship
Time flies when you're doing something you love, and for me, the past eight years on Steemit have been a remarkable journey of creativity, community building, and friendships all over the world.
A journey of creativity and contribution
From the moment I joined Steemit, I tried to make friends among the 20 thousand members that were in July 2016, but it was not easy. It took time.
And then I think of all the new members who come to the platform, you have to be patient. It would be wise to comment on posts you like and follow those authors over time. Because then they will also wonder who you are and you will eventually be visited by them on your posts.
WORLD OF XPILAR: One of my most important contributions is the creation of the WORLD OF XPILAR community. This space has become a hub for artists, writers, photographers and creatives of all kinds. Through regular competitions, challenges and community events, WORLD OF XPILAR has provided members with a platform to showcase their talents and connect with like-minded people. Today we are 25,182 subscribers in our local community

Build a global network of friends
During the last eight years I have made many friends all over the world. Steemit's (steem) unique platform has enabled me to connect with individuals from different backgrounds, cultures and interests. These friendships are more than just digital connections; they are meaningful relationships built on mutual respect, common interests and a collective passion for creativity.
Looking Ahead: Continuing the journey
Reflecting on the past eight years, it is clear that my journey on Steemit is far from over. Looking forward, I remain committed to fostering creativity, building community, and supporting fellow Steemians.

8 years is a long time. You are here since the initial days. I shall call you "the elder one" like they call "the originals" in movies. Even if you are the not the founder, the title of "father" wouldn't be wrong for you considering your contributions.
I felt right at home since I started writing in WOX. It's all those things that I imagine in an ideal community and one of those things which I admire the most is - "freedom".

The article touched me a little. After all, so much time has passed. And you are right, I also found a lot of friends, and together with friends, a community in which I feel at home.
