Greetings fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

I think it is safe to officially declare the weekend "open," and because today is Saturday it also means that today is Caturday, my favorite day of the week for posting cat pictures!

This week, I am revisiting the Caturday Community here on Steemit, but it has unfortunately not had any activity for a couple of years... which I think is a shame.

Crypto Positive - Yay!

It has certainly been nice to see some positive movement in the Cryptosphere, and it's also exciting to see our own Steem token tick up a little bit. And it's a steady upward trend, not one of this silly "moonshots" that almost immediately come right back to where we were before.

To be honest, it was getting rather tiring to check in in the mornings and always see things going down rather than up. After all, I'd like to think we're invested in projects like these because we are hoping they will gain.

This is definitely not investment advice, but I am very hopeful that we are now in an uptrend that's going to lead towards the Bitcoin halving sometime next year, and that we at least we'll see an uptrend in the markets through the end of the year. Or, I guess what is known as a "Santa Claus rally."

I'm feeling hopeful, also because we are only about 3 cents away from making a new high for 2023. Let's GO!

Expecting a somewhat quiet week here at our place, because only the Dad-Hooman is home. The Mom-Hooman has gone to Seattle to spend a few days at the Daughter-Hooman's house while she and her husband have gone to Hawaii. Must be nice to be able to go on holiday, somewhere warm!

So it will be my job this week to make sure that the Dad-Hooman pays plenty of attention to me and to my fuzzy housemate Smudge! If I think he's slacking up, I will definitely get up on his desk and walk across his keyboard when he's in the middle of doing something important!

When he is done with helping me put together my Caturday post, I think he's going to go and work on his creative projects because the Hoomans have a so-called "event" this coming weekend and he needs to get ready for that. I do like it when the humans work on creative stuff because there are usually lots of little things I can chase around the room... even though they don't seem entirely happy when I get in the middle of their things!
