Acts of Kindness: free health services for the underprivileged

free health services in my village
In my village, Gampong Blang, there's a program that's very beneficial for the community, especially for the underprivileged. This program involves free healthcare services provided at the Kemilau Integrated Health Post (Posyandu). This program demonstrates our community's commitment to public health.
Every time the Posyandu is held, the community is enthusiastic about attending. Many mothers bring their children for checkups. Furthermore, several elderly residents also take advantage of this opportunity to check their health. This type of healthcare service is very helpful, especially for those with limited financial resources.

At the Kemilau Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in Gampong Blang, health workers patiently served the residents who attended. They performed simple checks, such as checking children's weight and height, and provided vitamins and immunizations for toddlers. Mothers also received education on the importance of maintaining the health of their children and families.
I witnessed firsthand how enthusiastic the Posyandu cadres worked. They helped organize the incoming residents to ensure the service ran smoothly. The presence of Posyandu cadres is crucial because they act as a liaison between health workers and the community.
This free health service means a lot to the residents of our village. Many families feel the relief of not having to pay for their children's health checkups. Furthermore, Posyandu activities provide a place for the community to meet and share stories about family health.
For me, activities like this are a concrete example of the spirit of mutual cooperation that remains strong in our village. The village government, integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, and health workers work together to provide the best possible service to the community.
Through these Posyandu activities, the community is also becoming more aware of the importance of maintaining good health from an early age. Children who receive regular health checks can monitor their growth properly. This right is crucial to ensuring they grow up healthy and strong.
I am proud to see free health services in our village. I hope that activities like this can continue and expand in the future. With this attention to public health, it is hoped that our villagers can live healthier and more prosperous lives.

The presence of the Kemilau Posyandu is not only a place for health services, but also a symbol of concern and togetherness for the Gampong Blang community.
