Ramadan afternoons always bring a different atmosphere. Today, I spent time at home with my little family, waiting for the time to break the fast. We gathered in the living room, a warm and together atmosphere.

Since the afternoon, my wife had begun preparing some simple dishes for breaking the fast. Although not much, the food looked very appetizing. There were refreshing drinks, some snacks, and simple dishes for us to enjoy together. For us, what mattered most wasn't the luxury of the food, but the togetherness we felt while enjoying it.

While waiting for the evening prayer to arrive, we sat relaxed in the living room. Our little daughter seemed cheerful and meaningful near us. Every now and then, she'd ask when it was time to break the fast. This innocent question always made us smile. Moments like these felt precious, being able to gather together after a long day of activities.

Outside the house, the evening atmosphere began to change. The wind blew gently, and the sound of passing vehicles indicated that many people were also on their way to find snacks to break their fast. But for us, sitting together at home was a joy in itself.

Time seemed to pass slowly as we waited for the time to break the fast. But it was precisely during these moments that we could chat, joke, and enjoy each other's company. Little things like these often become beautiful memories in family life.

Soon, the call to prayer for the evening prayer finally rang out from the mosque in our village. The sound was always soothing and signaled that it was time to break the fast. We prayed together before enjoying the food that had been prepared.

Our first sip of the drink was incredibly refreshing after a long day of quenching our thirst. We then continued to enjoy the food that had been prepared. The atmosphere of eating together felt warm and full of gratitude.

For me, this moment of waiting for iftar holds profound meaning. The simplicity we experience actually makes our togetherness feel more sincere. There's no need for fancy food or a special place, because happiness is already present in the togetherness of my little family.

I am truly grateful to still be given the opportunity to spend Ramadan with my beloved family. May this togetherness be a memory we will cherish forever.
