The Joy of Being Able to Take My Little Daughter to Play on the Odong-odong

This evening felt so special and filled with joy. After a long day of activities, I took some time to accompany my little daughter on the odong-odong (traditional horse-drawn carriage) around Simpang Rangkaya. While seemingly simple, moments like these bring immense joy, both to my daughter and to me as a father.

The colorful flashing lights of the odong-odong immediately caught my daughter's attention. Her face was filled with enthusiasm, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and joy. She was so engaged with the ride that her wide smile never wavered, accompanied by genuine chuckles. I stood nearby, observing her every happy expression, occasionally waving to make her feel safe and accompanied.

The price of this odong-odong ride is very affordable, only Rp. 5,000 per ride until you're satisfied. But for me, the happiness it brings is far greater than mere numbers. For such a modest price, I can see my daughter laughing freely and enjoying her childhood with joy. This is a joy that cannot be measured in money.

The evening atmosphere at the Rangkaya intersection felt lively yet comfortable. Other children were playing, the cheerful music of the odong-odong (traditional musical instrument) was playing, and parents faithfully accompanied their children. All combined to create a warm, togetherness-filled atmosphere. Amidst this small crowd, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for still being given the opportunity to witness my child's growth and development firsthand.

As a father, I understand that my job isn't just to earn a living, but also to be present in every little moment that brings joy to my daughter. Whatever it takes, as long as I can, I will always strive to provide the best for my daughter. Seeing her smile is a source of strength and encouragement for me.

This blissful night has become a beautiful memory that I will always cherish. I hope my little daughter grows up filled with love, sweet memories, and simple yet meaningful happiness.
