01 Which kind of Health and Emergency center did you visit? Introduce briefly.

I visited the Primary Healthcare Centre. This primary healthcare centre that I visited is located in Akum Development Centre Nasarawa Eggon. The healthcare is for community use which is why it is called primary healthcare which was built in 2010 to provide health services to the local community. Where the primary healthcare is Akpata.

The primary healthcare, is not a big healthcare, but in terms of providing healthcare services the healthcare is trying as the place is usually open 24/7. Doctors and nurses are working in the hospital who are under the payroll of the local government chairman.

The healthcare centre lacks some facilities because it is a local healthcare center.

There are chairs for patients and staff, tables for staff, beds, wheelchairs, fans, a thermometer for checking patients, and other facilities inside the ward rooms, medical laboratory units, pharmacy, and labor room.

03 What are the important emergency services there?

The important emergency services in the primary healthcare are first-line care, stabilising patients for referral, and managing acute conditions.

The key services of the healthcare include, basic life support, triage, controlling severe bleeding, managing acute infections, trauma stabilisation, and paediatric obstetrics emergencies.

04 Why did you go there? Show your experience there.

I go there because the place is closer to where I am staying and on my way to church I decided to visit the place. As I went to the place I met a woman who is a staff member in the place that welcomed whom thought I came to see treatment. So far so good my experience in the place was cool.
