This week we can review different places, such as gas stations, hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, fire service stations. All of these are very important for us, among them today I will review a hospital, because I think that hospitals are an important part of our lives, when we are sick, we go to the hospital for treatment, there are different types of hospitals in our country, we treat our illnesses by seeing a doctor in the hospital and get well.

Hospitals are an important center for our health, today I will review the only government hospital in our Kazipur Upazila, almost all of our upazilas in Bangladesh have an Upazila Health Complex, we also have an Upazila Health Complex in our Kazipur, we all know it as an Upazila Hospital.

This very old hospital was established in 1926, then this hospital was made 31-bed, then on March 8, 2014, this hospital was upgraded to 50-bed, since then this hospital has been playing a special role in treating people in our upazila, in 2014, a foundation stone was laid to make a new 50-bed hospital, that foundation stone was laid by the then Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Alhaj Md. Nasim.

Then, due to the increasing popularity of the hospital, the need to build a new building was seen, after a few days, another new building was built and it became a 100-bed hospital, currently many doctors treat patients in this hospital, this hospital located in Beripatol village of Kazipur upazila has already become very popular with the people of kazipur.

As soon as you enter the main gate of the hospital, you can see the map of the Upazila Health Complex Kazipur in front of you, where the location of this hospital is mentioned on the map and the room number is mentioned, and what is in which room is also mentioned in detail, due to this, whenever any patient enters the hospital, the complete picture of the hospital comes up in front of him, and he can easily find his desired place.

In addition to receiving treatment through doctors, the hospital has a system for testing various diseases, and those tests can be done very easily, to take the services of the hospital, first you have to buy a ticket for five taka, then you have to take treatment from the doctor assigned according to the disease, all the arrangements for health check-ups are there inside the hospital, the health check-ups of the patients are done here at a very low cost, and some medicines are given free of charge by the hospital.

This hospital has an emergency department in room number 211, this emergency department can be seen as soon as you enter the old building of the hospital, there is a resident medical officer here, who treats patients 24 hours a day, a doctor is always available in this emergency department, except for the emergency department, all types of medical and health examination facilities are available here, especially this hospital has all types of health examination facilities including X-ray, ultrasonogram, pathology department, surgery.

The hospital has a health education corner, in this hospital, everything is arranged separately, women's ward, men's ward, children's ward, diarrhea ward, delivery room, there are good accommodation facilities for doctors and nurses inside the hospital, there is a government quarter next to the hospital where doctors, nurses and hospital staff can stay as residents.

There are many private hospitals and clinics in our Kazipur Upazila, but there is only one government hospital, I have been to this hospital for treatment at different times, like today I went to the hospital with one of my children, first I bought a ticket for 5 taka and then I saw the doctor I was assigned to, due to the low price of the ticket I had to stand in line for a long time in front of the counter, then I had to collect the ticket according to the patient's name, and there they told me the doctor's room number, I had to go to that doctor with the ticket.

Today after collecting the ticket I went to the pediatrician in room number 209, I went there and saw my son, first this doctor measured my son's weight, then he prescribed medicine according to my son's disease, one medicine was given by the hospital, and I bought the remaining medicines from the pharmacy.
